Answer:	I have Poa Annua and have been doing a lot of research on it. Many websites with information about Poa Annua say for effective control, besides Spring treatment it is good to put pre emergent down in August/September. Here is a quote from the Purdue University Extension website: "Poa annua is a winter annual that germinates in the late summer/early fall once soil temperatures fall below 70o F. Seedlings mature in the fall, overwinter in a vegetative state, and flower and produce seed in late spring and early summer." I just chatted with Scott's website and they said this product can be effective when used in this manner. I plan to apply it then AND next Spring. Most of the lawns in my development have been taken over by Poa Annua but I am still fighting the fight and hope to win or at least keep it to a minimum.

Shake container well before using. Connect a garden hose to the sprayer nozzle. Make sure switch is fully forward in the "off" position.

Turn on water at faucet. Extend hose to the farthest area to be treated and work back toward the faucet so you don't come in contact with the treated area. Remove safety tab from sprayer’s right side by pulling straight out. Discard or keep for future re-use.

Step 3:

To begin spraying, point nozzle toward treatment site and pull switch backwards towards hose connection. Water will automatically mix with the product. Spray until wet to control weeds. Walk at a steady pace, working back toward the faucet while spraying, using an even sweeping motion, slightly overlapping treated areas. One quart will treat 5,000 sq ft of southern or northern grasses.

Step 4:

To stop spraying, push switch forward toward nozzle. Turn water off at faucet. To relieve pressure before removing nozzle from hose, pull switch backwards towards hose connection until water stops spraying.

Question:	Do I use this before or after I fertilize my lawn in the Fall
Answer:	I wouldn't necessarily use this in the Fall. September is a nice cool month to do some reseeding, and you can't put this down within 6 weeks of seeding the lawn. I tend to do a March application and a 2nd April application, leaving me a window to seed the lawn in June. Always remember, June and September are the 2 best months to seed your lawn. I also wouldn't put this down in the fall because crabgrass does not tend to germinate in the fall, it germinates in March and April.
Question:	Is this effective against crabgrass
Answer:	I used it for the first time this season. I couldn't see that it did anything although I understand that it should be used for 3 consecutive seasons to see significant results. I wasn't pleased with the size of the pellets (rabbit food size). It took several rain events for the product to dissolve. Maybe this is better but it just wasn't what I expected. In the spring I plan to use a chemical crabgrass preventer. I'm changing over to a zoysia lawn. Zoysia may go dormant and turn brown in the winter but it requires no watering and less mowing in summer. In a few seasons I won't need any fertilizer or weed killer (except for spot treatments).
Question:	Can this be used in the garden as well as the lawn
Answer:	Does this kill the grasses that produce those nasty "Foxtails"? I have animals, vegetable garden, etc. and need a better way to kill these weeds/grasses before they produce the foxtails. Trying to "weed-wacker" them down before they get the foxtails is not always possible for me due to health issues.
Question:	Is this a good product to use on gravel walkways to avoid weed growth
Answer:	Mike McGrath says: Spread even the finest quality corn gluten on established weeds like those walkway ones, however, and you'll simply be feeding them. Mulch,vinegar, flame, hoeing and/or hand pulling are the answer here-and in that large-scale, Master Gardener situation. Yes, you could prevent future weeds by dusting with corn gluten every six weeks, but it would be hugely expensive and you'd be wasting all that great nitrogen fertilizer if there weren't 'wanted' plants growing in that area. Answer:	I am not certain about a large area. I use it for spot killing of weeds. The product works well on some weeds, but doesn't phase others. Hope this helps you. Cheryl

Answer:	No. You spray as is. Honestly, I couldn't get it to work. I ended up requesting a refund. Such a bummer.
Question:	I live in Mass. It is April 17. Is it too late to apply this for this season? My grass is growing but i do not see any crabgrass yet
Answer:	The amount per fluid ounce used varies based upon the variety of grass you are spraying per 1000 sq ft. Answer:	There is no residual for GroundClear Weed and Grass Killer, so once the weeds have died you should be able to replant.
Question:	Does this product gave any fertilizer in it? I recently applied weed and feed and had an unexpected thunderstorm wash it away and need an alternative
Answer:	I couldn’t get it to kill anything
Question:	will it kill quackgrass
Answer:	as long as the grass is established, it should in no way affect it. if you lay down a barrier of pre-emergent and then sow grass seed, it would then prevent the grass from germinating properly, if at all.
Question:	will it kill bind weed
Answer:	What does the label say? For southern lawns (I live in Orlando, FL), during the summer months only, I use Celsius WG. Very expensive, but a little goes a long way. Mixes at 1 tsp per gallon of water at the standard rate. And this stuff really, really, really, works. It is the only thing I have found that will kill crab grass.
