Answer:	Hi Corn Floats, This may be too late to be helpful, but...After reading all the questions and wildly different answers, I decided there was one way to learn the truth about whether these watering cans were designed to have the rosette removed/replaced or not! I was fortunate to speak with a customer service representative at Behrens yesterday, 11/2/16, who explained to me...the galvanized watering cans have been recently redesigned so the rosette is no longer removeable. The "replacement" rosette/head, although universal for all sizes of Behrens galvanized watering cans, is now discontinued and is obsolete for the redesigned watering cans. As with any transition between older & newer product designs, older versions of the watering can may still be available to purchase through some retailers/sellers, as well as the replacement rosette.

Answer:	I just received my 2 gallon can. Using a pair of pliers, we were able to easily loosen, and then remove, the head.

Answer:	It is made somewhere where they dont have consumer protection such that — on the first use, the water pours out of the handle rather than the spout!

Answer:	It is a little tight for a hand to get inside because of the handle location, but what we do is run really hot water and some mild soap in it, and rinse out really well, and try to shake as much of the water out as possible. Then we put a crumpled paper towel inside to soak up as much of the leftover water as possible, before turning it upside down in our dish rack to air dry the rest of the way.

Answer:	Kind of a light galvanized metal. they are pretty nice but mine had a little pinhole where the spout meats the can nothing bad i just put a little jb weld on it and now no probs.

Question:	Can you leave water in it 24/7? I do so some of the nasties in my water evaporate. Also is the inner of the can painted
Answer:	I don’t quite understand why you would want to leave water in the container 24/7? The answer would be no. The container comes with a tube of sealant to seal the rivet joints that will leak after time. The spray bucket works beautifully. It isn’t so large that weight would be a factor and is easy to handle/control that limits spillage. The inside is not painted.
