Question:	Can you give more detail about hooking it up to a anti-siphon setup. I need new valves so I bought 57623 as well. How would it clip on the pipe
Answer:	The battery only specific solenoid that comes with the timer unit should be screwed into the siphon valve just as you would any other ordinary solenoid. The cable attached to the solenoid plugs into the bottom of the timer unit. The timer unit comes with a bracket type holder that clips on the timer unit. There is an opening that enables the timer unit while attached to the bracket slides onto the top of the solenoid holding the timer unit in place. Hope this answer helps you.
Question:	Can this be mounted to a rainbird valve
Answer:	The rainbird valve's solenoid may have different threads, so the solenoid from this Orbit timer would have issues threading into the top of the valve.
Question:	How do i connect this as an anti siphon valve? the inlet is straight across and i need it to be 90 degree like dig solar powered timer
Answer:	Jessica, you will need to replace your current anti-siphon solenoid with the solenoid from this timer. The timer itself should clip on the vertical section of pipe.
Question:	Can I just swap the DC solenoid onto the existing irrigation valve
Answer:	It all depends on what the existing valve is. As long as the valve is a plastic (light green) Orbit valve, it should work. I have it connected to Orbit Automatic Converter Valve (Part #57029) and it works fine. However, the DC solenoid is incompatible with the heavier duty Orbit brass bodied valves.

Answer:	It is my understanding that this is OK for southern lawns. My lawn is a mix of bermuda and san augustine. The bermuda in my yard's not very strong, but there didn't seem to be any negative impact on the yard when I used it last fall. (Hope you can tell from my answer I'm not an authority on lawn preemergents.)

Question:	Can this be used as a propagation timer
Answer:	Both are colored drawing pencils, but the BIG difference is the Inktense actually are "ink", meaning once the color dries it is permanent, unlike the watercolor types such as Prisma, which if you lay down a blue, let it dry and add a yellow they will softly blend and make greens depending on how much you work them because they are water soluble. Inktense will NOT react to water after they dry; so that blue you layed down will not "blend" or lift so it may stay very blue looking or look green where the blue shows "through" the yellow. Also the Inktense are brighter and more intense. Buy both, and use watercolor pencils where you want a softer look, and the inktense where you want intensity.
Question:	How is the battery compartment accessed
Answer:	Just rub across scrap paper until no color shows up. Nib may still look colored but no color comes off on scrap paper

Answer:	Derwent Blender pens are designed for use with pencils; they allow the artist to blend away pencil lines, creating smooth and even colour and are effective with both colour and graphite pencils.
Question:	Can this timer be set to water every 15-30 days? Most timers will only allow a maximum of a 7 day watering cycle. I have a flower bed with cactus
Answer:	I have never tried using the Derwent Blender Pens with my Inktense watercolor pencils because the blender pens are used for wax base pencil and the inktense are water blended. Try it on a scratch paper but I would not be surprised if it didn't work. You could use a water brush to help in blending your inktense pencils.

Answer:	there is no color labeled skin tone but using a combination of sicilian yellow, carmine pink, antique white, some of the oranges, you can achieve a really nice skin color. But you should practice on a sheet before actually putting it in a painting. I am not familiar with Coloursoft, but the Inktense colors are subtle.

Answer:	Ink black #2200, teal green #1300bark #2000, baked earth # 1800, poppy red # 0400, sea blue#1200, sun yellow #0200, fuschia #0700, deep indigo # 1100, leaf green # 1600, tangerine #0300, and apple green #1400. It is a pretty good range of colors. I bought them to create on fabric.
Question:	Do I need to purchase two solenoids with this? I have two Hunter valves already installed

Answer:	If you remove the front cover, there are buttons for selecting a zone and running it manually. There are LEDs in a circle around the Rachio logo, numbered to match the sprinkler zones as you select your target zone. Once the zone you wish to water is highlighted, simply press the manual run button. Good in an emergency, but this unit's primary use case is using the app or website.

Answer:	The Iro utilizes EEPROM, persistent memory, so the last saved schedule(s) are stored on the device itself. There is much more space for the valve wires. There is the visual of what valve is operating during the irrigation cycle on the controller to name a few.

Then to make sure the water flows properly put the dial to "Auto" and press 'water now". Wait about 5 seconds and water should flow out, if not make sure your faucet handle is on. Then if water doesn't come out your device is broken. Note: This is only for a test. Once this cycle finishes, your normal programmed cycle will resume. Good Luck!!!
Question:	is it supposed to just connect to hose and work after set up? Mine doesnt stop any water flow no matter the setting
Answer:	Yes. Once connected to the faucet then a hose on the out flow and you have the batteries in and settings configured it should only allow water flow once the string is reached and opens the valve. It should not flow freely through the valve unless the strings allow it. Hope this helps

Answer:	Yes Leauna, it can be programmed to operate any day of the week and you can even have it water twice on your selected days (say before dawn and again at dusk) to minimize evaporation loss and maximize absorption by the plants.
