Answer:	I have owned a 50ft for about 6 years. Never had any problems with it. On a hose reel I would roll it up pressurized. It will be easier to handle because it dosen't want to twist, it will remain straight easier. Also rolling it up unpressurized it will flatten out on the reel. So next time you turn it on it can't expand properly and could restrict flow. They make some good air hoses to.
Question:	How much does the 100' hose weigh? One description lists an item weight of 7 pounds and a shipping weight of 15.3 pounds
Answer:	100' is 16 pounds, 75' is 12 pounds and 50' is 9 pounds. Definitely about the lightest weight hose you can find. Gatorhide is a very similar hose with similar weights. They feel deceptively light weight. The great thing about these hoses is they almost absolutely never kink when they are under full water pressure. Well, they do, but because of the rubbery construction the water pressure pops the kink out by itself in about 1/4 second or so. You wouldn't even know the hose kinked if you blinked. I have a business soft washing dirty roofs, houses and building exteriors and my employees and I absolutely love this hose.

Answer:	The cardboard packaging that came with the hose only says "Made In USA". Check the Dramm website and it may tell you where in the USA they are located or a contact number. I have found that this hose does tend to kink more with age - but no more than any other hose. It is definitely excellent quality.

Answer:	Interesting question! This is new "news" to me. I have double-length hose + nozzle coiled outside on west side of building with some daily sun exposure. So far, no cracking, fading, or kinking but also no direct long-term exposure to hot sun. I'd check with manufacturer in Manitowoc, WI 920/684.0227. Good Luck!

Answer:	This is not a potable water hose. I have two sections here in Washington that have been in service for years and still are excellent. I have one new section on my boat in Hawaii and it seems to be holding up well. Just don't drink out of it. Get a potable water hose and use a filter.

Answer:	It's heavy duty rubber so I wouldn't think so however I don't know if you took it even colder, and froze it with water inside it though, not recommended, but for that answer you'd have to have a real-time experiment on the hose flexing it when with frozen water inside to see if it could more easily break. It's certainly a tough hose tough, however it's a good thing it's only 25 ft though because it kinks easily and at a longer length would be a pain, but at 25 ft it's not bad.

Question:	Can this be used with a sprinkler or rainbird
Answer:	Ours broke exactly 30 days after the purchase date (realistically by the time I got to hook it up, we only used it for about 2 weeks - maybe 5-6 times total). I didn't get to look into it right then and there, so the only option I found was calling Amazon's customer support line the next day and they informed me this item only has a 30 day return policy. The Amazon rep was kind enough to send me a return label, and once I ship the broken hose back they'll refund the full amount. It looks like trying to chase down the seller is a waste of time, so hopefully Amazon can help you out. Definitely not buying another one of these... sure they look nice but the poor quality defeats the purpose!

Answer:	I've bought two of these. Both ruptured near the faucet connection, which can't reasonably be explained by sun exposure. The weakness seems to be caused by insufficient external wrapping of the latex hose (i.e. something to limit the hose from flexing near the faucet).

Answer:	The hose looses a lot of pressure. If your sprinkler can put out a lot of water, you will not be happy. Also, with loss of pressure, the hose will shrink, so don't expect to be able to use the fully extended length of the hose.

Answer:	I live in Michigan and vinyl hoses will rack if you leave them outside in winter. Rubber hoses will stretch if water in it expands as it freezes. I have a rubber hose that I have had for 20 years. I live in Michigan and the hose has never been inside. It has been run over by my cars many times. After 20 years it is still in perfect operating condition. Try that with even a 'high quality' vinyl hose. As an aside, it is easy to find American made rubber hoses, like this Briggs and Stratton.

Answer:	It is a major hassle to coil either in a pot or just on the ground. It will continue to twist down the line as you make each loop. Answer:	There is an option to purchase a quantity of either 1 or 6. I'm guessing you selected the "6". I did obtain 12 for a non-profit group in a national conservation park and they have held up well. I would, however, recommend a smaller version and buying a pruning saw. Trying to cut 2" with any pruner requires a lot of effort. I am 6' and weight 200 lbs and believe you are better off with the 20" or 24" (1.5" cutting capacity) bypass (better cut) and Corona's 10.5" razor folding saw. If you plan on doing a lot of sawing get a replacement blade at the same time. Blades are not able to be sharpened and ALWAYS end up being dull at the most inconvenient time. Corona has an excellent replacement policy if anything goes wrong. With over $2k in their tools I've only had to send back two items. One for a defective plastic latch and one for a hickory handle that broke. Honestly, the broken handle was more from my trying to cut something too big when I failed to have my saw with me.

Answer:	The hose is rated at 150 psi on the hose. Whether it will withstand a constant pressure, I'm not sure. I know it is probably the easiest hose to handle and use that I have ever owned, just bought another one. When I used my previous kink less hoses, it was like wrestling with a 20 foot python!! Answer:	No such thing as a stupid question. I have this hose running off my main spigot. It's a great hose! At the end of this hose I use brass connectors so I can easily attache and switch out a sprinkler, another hose, soaker hose, etc. I use Gilmore Quick Connect 2Pc, which I purchased on Amazon. You'll need the 2Pc, one for each side. You should be able to use the connectors to make it an extension.

Answer:	Yes
Question:	Is it true that this is 5/8” outside but that the interior was less so less water flow
Answer:	All pneumatic cylinders of this type have exhaust orifices that allow you to adjust how fast the actuator (piston) moves. You can vary the pressure it exerts by changing how much air pressure you feed it, usually with a small air regulator. I use mine with a bicycle pump or scuba tank and regulator. The max pressure is how the actuator is rated.
Question:	Is it lead free, bpa, phytate free
Answer:	in general the supply air should be adding lubricant, check the lines and look for an oil reservoir. If you don't have one, add one. Use the right lubricant called for by the cylinder. Adding lubricant, oil, or grease to the piston often times gets wiped off as the piston retracts against the seals, then builds up dirt and debris in the excess, and eventually causes seal failure in the cylinder.
Question:	I know this is a stupid question but I have never gardened before. This is called a lead-in hose. Does it function as a hose extension
Answer:	I use my cylinder to crush aluminum cans. The amount of power is dependent upon the max capability of the cylinder as well as the air pressure delivered to the cylinder. The single action valve that I use will easily deliver enough air pressure to crush an aluminum can, and with 5 or 6 cycles will crush an aluminum bottle. Not sure if this will help you, but should lift about 20 - 30 pounds with full air pressure.

Question:	How can i fix a split hose? I had this delivered on 7/29. there is a big split in the 100 ft hose about 12" from handle
Answer:	Try to send it back. These hoses are a waste of money. mine had like 4 leaks... it was un-fixable
Question:	Has the issue of valve placement been corrected yet? The valve is placed too close to the threads of the hose
Answer:	The hose comes with four extra washers. Put an extra washer in the connector to create some space for the valve and problem solved.

Answer:	LOOK AT THE PICTURE OF THE FEMALE END BY PURCHASER. LOOK AT THE SMALL RESTRICTION IN THE CENTER. THE FLOW IS ROUGHLY 5/16"-3/8". The fittings are not the problem. The restrictions to connect the metal fittings to the hose ends are much smaller than a 5/8" hose. In other words, do not expect this to supply the same amount of water as a regular 5/8" hose, much less a 3/4" hose.
Question:	When the hose is connected to the faucet, it is troublesome to rotate. Is there a connector that does not need to be rotated
Answer:	No, I have not experienced a problem. I like the hose, seems more sturdy than other "Pocket Hose Products". I have only had fro a few months this summer. Usaully these type products only last a couple of summer seasons. Will wait till the end of next summer before I can determine wether or not this product is any better than the others I have tried.
