They are designed to be so compact though that you don’t need it. It can go in a bag, a basket or a little pile.

Answer:	I watered my lawn tonight with this hose and I u-turned it so that the hose sections were about 18" apart - no problems. Once it pressurizes you would be surprised how tight the radius can be.

Answer:	I used 2 metal radiator type hose clamps over the hose/pvc pipe. Probably overlapped the hose 8-10" over the pvc. Make sure clamps seat evenly so they don't twist and cut into hose (hope that makes sense). The clamps didn't require a lot of tension, just enough so I couldn't pull the hose off by hand. Also made sure hose had no kinks or was twisted before starting backwash.

Answer:	I used the 2" Dia. x 50 ft HydroMaxx hose to backwash my pool, it worked perfectly as long as you use an O clamp. My pvc pipe was also 11/2".

Answer:	In practice, the biggest source of pressure drop is the presence of any kinks in the layout of the hose (which can form easily since the inner layer of the hose is so thin). Lay out any curved sections carefully, perhaps anchoring such sections with garden staples to keep them kink-free. For a hose laid out smoothly, I find that the biggest source of non-uniformity in water delivery is some randomness in the pierce holes in the inner wall. One 50-foot hose that I got recently actually delivered more water at the far end! I don’t have any experience with sections longer than 50 feet, however, and I have never chained multiple pieces together end-end (I have sections branching from a common source, with a 7 psi pressure regulator upstream of that which I read makes the hose last longer).

Answer:	I have owned a 50ft for about 6 years. Never had any problems with it. On a hose reel I would roll it up pressurized. It will be easier to handle because it dosen't want to twist, it will remain straight easier. Also rolling it up unpressurized it will flatten out on the reel. So next time you turn it on it can't expand properly and could restrict flow. They make some good air hoses to.
Question:	How much does the 100' hose weigh? One description lists an item weight of 7 pounds and a shipping weight of 15.3 pounds
Answer:	100' is 16 pounds, 75' is 12 pounds and 50' is 9 pounds. Definitely about the lightest weight hose you can find. Gatorhide is a very similar hose with similar weights. They feel deceptively light weight. The great thing about these hoses is they almost absolutely never kink when they are under full water pressure. Well, they do, but because of the rubbery construction the water pressure pops the kink out by itself in about 1/4 second or so. You wouldn't even know the hose kinked if you blinked. I have a business soft washing dirty roofs, houses and building exteriors and my employees and I absolutely love this hose.

Answer:	No is not 50 pounds. Its very light.
Question:	Is this really flexible
Answer:	The DHC-E 8/10 is actually two models in one - it has the added advantage of select-able power output of 7.2 kW (Stage 1) or 9.6 kW (Stage 2) during installation via a jumper. There is no "Stage 1.5" for a 8 kW setting. If you want the DHC-E 8/10 unit to work at up to 8 kW, you should put the jumper into the Stage 2 slot for 9.6 kW. The DHC-E unit will only work as hard as it has to, never overheating the water. Advanced microprocessor technology ensures that the water temperature doesn't deviate from the set point even if flow varies.

Question:	Well what is it folks? Is it a Great hose or is it a piece of crap hose that kink like some say
Answer:	I called the technical support number and asked your question. They said that you should disconnect the water supply and hot sides. Then it would be best to use a shop vac to blow air through the unit from the cold water supply side and that you could also add the pink anti-freeze to the unit. Here is Stiebels phone number 800-582-8423. Make sure that you use a low flow aerator with this type of water heater or you will only get luke warm or cold water from it. I hope this helps
