Answer:	It will but the sand has to be very dry which is hard in the winter I ended up taking mine off and just using a walk behind Chapan salt and ice melt spreaders with sure spread technology.

Answer:	Thank you for your question. This doesn't have an adjustable handle. From the ground to the top of the push handles is 38". Answer:	Yes, as it deflects your product down on one side giving you roughly half of the usual spread, albeit one-side only. It is most effective for preventing product overspray and waste onto a driveway or mulch bed, for example. It is very effective in this endeavor.

Answer:	I recently purchased the Brinley P20 500BHDF Push Spreader with side deflector kit, 50 lb. capacity. It replaced a decade old corroded Scotts spreader. This is a large very well built sturdy spreader. I bought it to last me a long time. The spreader comes with a nice clear cover for use in rain.... important as I live in W. Washington state. My lawn is only about 2,000 sq.ft., a bit of overkill. Very easy to operate. Just remember.. there is no "spring" tensioner to close the holes when you stop moving; material continues to fall. I have used it a few times. Very rugged and very well built.

Question:	Will it spread seed as small as Bermuda seed or alphalfa seed
Answer:	I would think it would. I used mine to spread seed for a food plot recently. We spread clover in several fields and the clover seed is about the same size as Bermuda. You have to watch the feed gate though because it tends to stick open or closed.
Question:	does this spreaded have directional control for fruit crops, blue berry rows
Answer:	The spreader sends the product out the back with about a 12 feet spread. It has a variable opening controlling product flow. It took a little modification to get the shield to not bind against the rotating spreader. You might be able to make a rectangular chute to aim the product for what you need.
Question:	Would this unit work if mounted on the front of a zero turn mower. Does the rotation of the impellor make a difference if mounted in the front rear
Answer:	The mount is on a receiver hitch - it has 2 sizes so that it fits a standard 2 inch and the smaller ATV size. But the impeller only throws one way. You could rotate the hitch plates and it should work - i.e. we use it on an ATV and a Pick-up. The 2" for the pickup and the smaller for the ATV. We have to rotate the hitch so that the impeller throw correctly.

Question:	would it work well for powdered lime
Answer:	Just bought a Classic Drop Spreader for use with pulverized (powdered) lime. Worked great with a 40 lb. bag and a setting of 14. Took a few passes to use up the bag at the recommended application rate found on the bag of lime. Cross (perpendicular) application was recommended by the lime supplier. Tried to apply a bag of lime with a rotary spreader (Scotts 2000) and wound up with clogging due to the insufficient hole size even at a setting of 11. Recommend you use granular lime with the rotary spreader. Seems to work well for me with the Scotts 2000.

Answer:	I bought this 5 years ago and only use for salt in the winter, the metal frame finally gave out in the beginning of the 6th winter. Spreads salt fine as long as the wheels turn. Not great for built up ice pack on driveway. Works great for normal use at home.

Answer:	I believe the label says to apply every 30 days or as needed. I found that I needed to apply it every 10-14 days or so. And of course after it rains you need to reapply. I found it works well but it got kind of expensive having to reapply so often.

Answer:	No it won't keep plants from growing. We use it to keep animals away from our bamboo. It works to keep them away.

Answer:	beats me. i keep mine hooked up from 12/31 to 4/1 and only then do i take it off. my understanding is that you do not need to disconnect it-it powers down on its own, but you mught want to find the user nistructions and check me on that. good product if youre not in a hurry

This charger is super for use when you don't drive the vehicle a lot and it sits for any length. it can be used on the battery in the car or taken out, once it's on it can stay plugged in all winter of summer just unplug it when you go driving. If the car stays outside they make a waterproof model. If your looking for a fast charger this is not what you want, if you do buy this make sure it's the 12 volt model ... hope this will help you

Answer:	Charge for free! Buy a low wattage solar battery charger/maintainer at Harbor Freight instead because it works very well maintaining the battery charge provided that the battery is fully charged before hooking up this solar charger.... it will only maintain the charge. Not made to fully charge a discharged battery. Point the solar panel southwest to get the most out of the sunlight during daytime. I have used this $9.99 if on sale gadget for years now on my boat and car and has not failed me yet. It comes with all the hook up accessories needed. I have not used the boat for 2.5 years at a time and the gel battery is as good as when I installed it 7 years ago. My car wet cell battery also is as good as when I first installed it and I only use the car abroad every 12 months when I am in town for 3 weeks. Question:	Can this be used to charge an AGM battery
Answer:	Stupid me, but don't all lead acid batteries use the same chemistry? I've read only that 6-cell lead-acid batteries should never use a charging voltage exceeding 14.4 volts, since water will begin to H2 gas and O2 gas above that. You risk explosion and loss of electrolyte beyond that. Explain why this is different for AGM, Flooded, and Gel batteries!

Answer:	the arm rest does not come off ,it is just a rest for the forearm. to rest on.
Question:	is there an agitator for this spreader? I have fluffy native grass seed and it won't go through without being agitated
Answer:	I would say no it has a thing on the only unit that you slide out that gives you support reaches up towards your mid arm to give you support to hold it with one hand and then you can use your crank for the other I have carpal tunnel I have arthritis and you'll be all right

Answer:	It is a function of how fast you turn the spreader handle. For me it's about 6 feet wide.
Question:	Can I use this for salt
Answer:	I would think so. Don't know the size of Zinnia seeds but settings provide for pretty big opening for distribution. Have only used it for granular fertilizer and worked very well.

Question:	Has anyone used this to spread flower seeds
Answer:	I used it to spread grass seed - worked great as it it very surgical as compared to a broadcast spreader. I used it to seed all down my driveway line and some larger spots. I would think that flower seeds would be fine unless they are super small - because the may come out a bit fast - but you can only have 2-3 holes open instead of the 10-12 that are there. Its like a giant salt shaker!
Question:	How does it screw on? How do you unscrew the lid
Answer:	The lid screws directly on the top of the unit. The advantage to this product opposed to any of the other is the handle is actually part of the lid making it extremely strong. Look at the photos in the listing. There are 2 with the lid removed so you can see it. Thanks!
Question:	My Mom is *3 and can't drag bags of rock salt around. How much area will a container cover as don't to have to keep going up and down the driveway
Answer:	Hello from snowy MN!! It really depends on how thick she wants to lay it out. It holds up to 80oz. We have a walkway about 30 feet long to our garage and it easily covers this area with left over. The best part is we scoop out just the amount we need from the bag and go from there. We get it...those bags are heavy!!
