I just welded the plate to a 2"x2" square HHS tube and mounted in the receiver of my Polaris Ranger works great! I used a choke cable to open and close the gate. |

| Answer: | Yes you can. The tub is plastic and the spreader mechanism is metal so it can rust if left in for long periods. I use it to spread salt, fertilizer, lime, sand, and seed. Fertilizer and salt are the most corrosive and I rinse the inside when finished for the season and give it a light coat of WD40 and have had no issues. Make sure the salt is dry or it will clump up and not spread. You might not want to start with a full load at first and see how it does before filling it all the way up. I did make a brace to mount under the spreader to help sturdy it up and it makes it solid as some materials are pretty heavy when you fill it all the way up. |

| Answer: | I would think it would. I used mine to spread seed for a food plot recently. We spread clover in several fields and the clover seed is about the same size as Bermuda. You have to watch the feed gate though because it tends to stick open or closed. |

| Answer: | The spreader sends the product out the back with about a 12 feet spread. It has a variable opening controlling product flow. It took a little modification to get the shield to not bind against the rotating spreader. You might be able to make a rectangular chute to aim the product for what you need. |

| Answer: | The mount is on a receiver hitch - it has 2 sizes so that it fits a standard 2 inch and the smaller ATV size. But the impeller only throws one way. You could rotate the hitch plates and it should work - i.e. we use it on an ATV and a Pick-up. The 2" for the pickup and the smaller for the ATV. We have to rotate the hitch so that the impeller throw correctly. |
