Answer:	The bag reads "8 dry quarts". I found this product to be very good for my indoor plants. I used it to provide nutrients for my indoor plants and they seem to really like this potting soil. Answer:	What i recieved had a very small percentage of powder or chunky peices, it was largely a quality short fibrous material with firm root holding ability.The only oversite I have had from this material has been with relearning my watering cycles. The fiber holds its moister very well {almost too well} especialy in larger, deeper containers.I have used it for the last several years with Moso Bamboo, Dragon Fruit, Bhutt Jolokias, Butterfly Bush and Tomatoes. So far and all have done very well. When using with olivias cloning solution/gel or with a 1/4 diluted shultz I have gotten a major increase in my success and quality with rooting cuttings from all of these plants as well.

Question:	Can you use this for basil
Answer:	Succulents seem to grow in just about anything and do not need a lot of moisture once they have rooted. Coir by contrast is very good at retaining moisture as well as, shall I say, accepting moisture, i.e. it does not repel water when it is completely dry like other products do. Hence it is excellent for germinating seeds.
Question:	does this have any chemicals, fertilizers or minerals added
Answer:	I use it in lieu of potting soil in small window sill pots. It expands to 3 or 4 times its original size when watered, so you need to keep that in mind.
Question:	Does this soil produce those really annoying little flies so many organic pot plant soils do after 2 months of watering
Answer:	You will need to add nutrients for the earthworms for be happy... compost would be a much better choice. This product was fantastic for my needs... light and small but with water became a big pile (wheelbarrow full, I guess) but I was just adding it to the top of a flower bed and then I added nutrients for the plants... I don’t believe this soil has any nutritional value for earth worms at all... if you need a huge pile, it might work if you add a little compost and then some quickly biodegrading items like bananas so the worms would grow quickly and multiply. That would be great for the students.

Also, it keeps excellent time and the construction appears to be very good. I can only assume that the clock is made in China, but it could possibly be only the battery cover.

Answer:	No. It is very fine and light, not like real dirt at all it would completely float and be all over your aquarium. It doesn't work like real dirt it's almost powdery-ish for lack of any better word .

Answer:	Great question. Currently it is under review. However the ingredients all come from the earth, Peat Moss a natural growing moss found in Canada. Perlite, which is ancient volcanic glass that is mined. Composted pine bark, which is the bark off of natural grown pine trees common over the southern United States. Worm Castings, which is short for worm poop. Coir, which is short for coconut hair. Last and our favorite ingredient is Mycorrhiza, which is natural occurring fungus found in nature that increase the root's ability to absorb nutrients and water from the soil by increasing the surface absorbing area of roots. Together these organic products are mixed together to make the perfect mix your plants will love!
