Off the Azomite website...Chemically it is hydrated sodium calcium aluminium magnesium silicate hydroxide (Na,Ca)0.33(Al,Mg)2(Si4O10)(OH)2·nH2O. (bentonite)Azomite off an MSDS is NaK2Ca5A13Si21O706H20 so comparing the two a bit differently laid out; and not the same mineral. Azomite has a LOT of trace things, off their site there is a representative sample run through a mass spectrometer... so they are NOT the same thing.That's the fancy answer. The plain answer, it's not the same, bentonite can be used as it will expand, in drilling muds, to seal ponds so they hold water, and as a clarifier or filler depending on how it's prepared. Answer:	There is no such listing as "NPK" on the ingredient percentages

Answer:	This fertilizer is 4-4-4. The first number indicates 4% nitrogen, second 4% phosphorus and the third 4% potassium. The best way is to incorporate 4 pounds of 4-4-4 per 100 sq.ft. prior to planting. This kind of fertilizer is called "all purpose" fertilizer. My recommendation is that you analyze your soil with an inexpensive test kit (Amazon has them). Then decide what you want to grow and research on-line what the optimum fertilization ranges are for your specific plants or vegetables. Then, if you incorporate the all purpose fertilizer into you soil before planting you can spot supplement with specific fertilizers as needed. There are many organic solutions available to you. Question:	Does this contian anti caking agents? If so, which ones
Answer:	(21 CFR 582.2729) anti-caking agent, and is generally recognized as safe (GRAS) by the FDA.
Question:	How often do you need to apply this? Just early spring or every 6 weeks
Answer:	We put it in the rows and under the plants in the spring and that's all. We used a tablespoon of Azomite, a tablespoon of espom salt, and a cup of bone meal in the bottom of our tomato plant holes then an inch of soil. We had tomato plants over 6 foot tall and no blossom rot.

Answer:	no. you want the grass to be 4-5" high before first cut of season

Answer:	Only discourages them if you spread it in early spring. Not toxic or carcinogenic like most of the 'make your lawn look like a an artificial carpet' products. Encourages grass to grow and and green....
Question:	Does this product smell. Saw a lot of complaints about smell with other Organic lawn fertilizers
Answer:	Yes like 💩 but only for like a day or so.
