Answer:	It is probably not the best choice. The active herbicide only works on actively growing plants, and should not affect anything that is dormant. The fertilizer mix is intended for newly planted grass. If you are growing new grass and have actively growing weeds , then it's perfect for the winter. If you are South of New Orleans, this could be sensible. I plan to use it to kill active broadleaf weeds and hope to give some bahia a hard time when it wakes up. I will overseed hybrid bluegrass to the shaded areas of a mixed centipede/st augustine/sand spur lawn. Technically, it's winter in February... It also just hit 75 degrees, and our soil temp is headed north of 55. Most people call that spring.

Answer:	It's always recommended to get a soil test but you should be fine. Just ensure you are feeding your existing lawn too much nitrogen.

Answer:	Didn’t do much of anything for me. Dark spots are hard to get rid of. At ulta they sell a product called ordinary. They make a chem peel for like $7. That along with a micro roller .25 or .50 would help. I have melasma (sp?). Being a white woman that’s rare but the micro roller has broke. It up to where even my husband said he barely notices the big square that’s usually on my forehead. I wanted to like this I had high hopes but I’d didnt do anything for me. I wouldn’t buy ordinary products on amazon. As they have a Hugh margin for being fake.

Answer:	Hello,Great question. This is a plant nutritional product. As soon as you grass intakes it will start using the nutrients where it is needed most. Sometimes root, sometimes vertical, sometimes lateral. Visual may not be evident immediately but uptake will occur within several days. For visual or measured growth it take varying times in warmer weather will be faster, in cooler weather will be slower, in sunny conditions will be faster and when adequate water is in soil will be faster. Growth will occur before the visual eye notices. You should notice a healthier grass within a few days. Making grass grow where none exists can only happen if there is grass seed in that area or if the grass is a crawling variety. If it is a crawling variety it will grow as long as the soil that is bare does not have a condition that caused the bare spot in the first place such as a PH irregularity, chemical spill, salt issue, or disease.
Question:	If i'm going to apply liquid weed killer (ortho) to my lawn should i apply it before or after booster and how long of an interval should i wait
Answer:	You should apply before the Booster and wait at least 7-10 days before the Booster. Answer:	Organic fertilizers can sometimes continue to compost if kept in a very warm place. The nitrogen heats it up further causing the ammonia smell. If the bag doesn't feel too warm, this is not a big deal, but I recommend you store it in a cool place to maintain the natural N-P-K balance and micro-organism makeup.

It does not matter if you use one gallon of water to apply or three gallons of water to apply.  You will still be applying the same amount of (dry mix) nutrients to the lawn.  The only difference is that you can take your TIME spraying it on and not be running around like a mad man out of breath at the end.

How much dry mix to use?

Most people will apply at a 14-2-4 ratio in the spring and fall, then switch over to the 7-1-2 during the summer months.  If you want to apply at a 14-2-4 ratio, use 1/4 of a bag.  You can also convert to CUPS if you want. 1 CUP of DRY mix will treat approx. 1500 sq ft at a 14-2-4 rate. If mixing at 7-1-2 ratio then one cup will treat roughly 3000 sq ft.
