Instructions: The spikes only need to penetrate the soil 1/8”-1/4” roughly the length of the sharp end of the spike. The spikes are made extra long to allow for think thatch and dead grass. The holes should not penetrate the soil more than 1/4” Make several taps into the dead patches of grass per square foot. Sprinkle grass seed over spiked dead patch.
