User questions & answers

Question: Will lthis come back annually if planted outside? If I keep it as a houseplant, will it live longer and flower multiple times/year
Answer: This plant is more shade tolerant than a lot of others. Arabian Jasmine is also shade tolerant along with common jasmine. If you give this plant enough light it will flower. The flowers usually form on the wood from the year before. So all wood that is at least one year old should have the ability to produce flowers. This plant can be a houseplant fairly easily if given the proper light. Amazon does sell 35 watt LED grow lights that should suffice if you keep the plant trimmed and not allow more than 2 feet high and 2 feet wide. I would add more lights if you want it bigger. There are some Jasmine that you will have issues growing inside, but this is not usually one of them. Enjoy your plant.
Question: I received the plant a week ago. i have been keeping it indoors and following the instructions. the leaves are turning yellow. what should i do
Answer: I don't know where you live, but it surely is not snowing in your state yet. Plant the little thing! Goodness, it's an outdoor plant. You AR probably over-watering it inside and it's not getting the sun direct sunlight it needs as an outdoor plant.
Question: I live in zone 5-b. i want to get a hanging pot and hang it in front of a west window (kitchen) will that be a good location? also, what size pot? tha
Answer: Hi, are you planning to hang the plant indoors or outdoors? Since this is a one gallon size pot I would pot up to a 3 gallon. Also, west facing windows is good for this plant or a south facing. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Question: What will be the height of plant when we get it
Answer: Hi, when you receive your confederate jasmine it will be 1-2ft tall.

User questions & answers

Question: What soil is best
Answer: The Jasmine plant I bought is not doing well. I kept it in the same pot for several weeks and then transferred it to a bigger planter and used the regular potting soil. I fertilized the plant but still not growing much at all. Sorry don't have any suggestions other than just my experience.
Question: picture 4 is different and I'm not looking for that, can someone please confirm what you received
Answer: I received a minuscule pot with a seedling in it. This is atrocious. Clearly clickbait. The picture shows at least 1-2 foot plant with a large pot.
Question: My plant is not growing at all, any ideas? After 3 weeks not even a single new leaves, i did put it in a 6” pot, maybe roots are growing
Answer: Mine was slow to start growing but it now has new growth on it
Question: It lasted just a few weeks on the window sill.then wilted.was watered regularly.how do i keep it growing longer
Answer: Mine has bloomed twice also and is over twice as big now as when I received it. We put it into a bigger pot immediately. Don't over water it. We've moved ours around some. Sometimes it is in the kitchen with natural light. Sometimes it gets put in the "plant area" with artificial light. It has never been in the window if it was too hot outside, we have put it back by the kitchen sink (no really close windows) if it gets too hot in direct sunlight. It still smells really good.

User questions & answers

Question: Can this be grown indoors as a house plant
Answer: The best thing to do is to mimic the conditions from where the plant is happiest...the south. Since there is a great deal of humidity below the Mason Dixon line I doubt it. However, mine, and i ordered 5 varieties from these folks, are doing fairly well in the house, but they are being acclimated to the outdoors at this point. These ARE vines, you know.
Question: can I grow this indoors
Answer: Yes, in a sunny window with good soil.
Question: How long after I get them can i replant them
Answer: Please repot it after 2 to 3 weeks.
Question: Too bad Amazon doesn't list the seller as most reviews seem to need it; many have mentioned an exceptional seller, but who is it
Answer: 9Greenbox is the seller. Good Luck.

Question: How old is this plant

Answer: I use a liquid spray that you can get fo plants in local store. My plant arrived an most of the leaves fell off.
Question: Does this need to be replanted in a larger container
Answer: I am really not sure if you have a very green thumb maybe but I believe it is more successful as a garden planting
