Answer:	As an update.... I just ordered one of these (September 2020), and it seems they have since fixed this issue. The plug now screws all the way in (by hand) and has a gasket in place to seal it.

Answer:	Running this roller over a mature, firmly packed lawn would probably not create any noticeable indentations of the grass or soil, unless you did it after serveral days of rain.

Answer:	The Plug Is Pretty Much Useless After Draining It And At $8-$10 A Plug, Over The Long Run It Can Get Expensive. I Don't Know Why They Just Didn't Put In A Screw In Plug. I Prefer Sand Over Water Due To The Sand Not Freezing And Bursting The Roller.

Answer:	No, you do not sit in/on this lawn cart. It would be great to pull the grandkids around the yard, if you were not too tired from gardening.

Answer:	It would certainly hold him/her but it's very deep. If I were using it to walk/ride a Pug I might pad it with a thick, small doggie mattress. You'd have to raise him way up in order for him to see out, above the sides. It is a good, sturdy product and we love it for our yard work ... runs smoothly and quietly.
Question:	Would it be good for moving a bale of hay
Answer:	I think the others have given good answers. I would add that pulling it is easier for heavy loads, but the legs are so close to the handles that the legs hit the back of my feet and calves when I pull it. I have 3 other barrows, and like my large one with large pneumatic tires the best. However, this one has one advantage. It is the narrowest one, and so fits into tight places where the others won't go. I've removed the tool holders on the side, so it fits even tighter places. They have screws holding them on, so are easy to remove.

Once he gathered the information for the model I have, he assured me that they would send replacement wheels within the next two weeks---without any charge. Anymore, where in the U.S. can you find a company with this kind of integrity that stands behind their products to this degree? Rest assured, I will not hesitate to purchase any product that AMES sells in the future, knowing the solid reputation this company maintains in this current climate with everything being made to fall apart and be replaced --- at the customer's expense.
