Answer:	Hello, LuxHeat floor heating is only designed to go above the subfloor. When installed above the subfloor the subfloor acts as an insulator and there is minimal downward heat-loss, however if installed below the subfloor the subfloor will restrict the heat to the floor surface. Below the subfloor will also mean there is no heat-sink (mortar or leveling compound) and the cables may overheat.
Question:	What does 7" measure
Answer:	Hello, the kit includes the heating wire, strapping to hold the wire in place, a floor sensor compatible with most thermostats and an alarm or cable monitor for use during installation. You'll need to purchase a self-leveling compound or thin-set to cover the heating system and a thermostat to control the floor temperature. We have LuxHeat kits that included the thermostat but the covering will need to be purchased at your local Home Depot or Lowes.

Answer:	One must be pedaling continuously for the gears to turn easily. It's impossible to change gears without pedaling - you'll ruin the mechanism if you try. This is true for all derailleur bikes. Something is wrong If gears don't change quite easily while pedaling.

Answer:	I purchased the 14” bike. The seat height range on this bike is more than 5”. My granddaughter who is a tall 3-year-old has the seat set low so her feet can touch the ground now as she learns how to ride a two-wheeler. Question:	How do you secure this strip around the brewing jar
Answer:	I use a rubber band to secure mine. Velcro strips or gaffer's tape would also work. If you're using this to brew kombucha or a comparable drink, whatever you do, don't set the jar on the heating pad, which is what another user recommended. That's the last thing you'd want to do. Doing this offsets yeast growth and will ruin batches. The variance in temperature throughout the container will also be greater.
Question:	can I rap this around a one gallon flower pot to keep the soil warm , for a rare topical plant i have , to keep it warm in teh winter months
Answer:	I'm sure you could, because it is a gentle heat hovering around 70*. You could set the planter inside another container inserting the heater between the two pots! Just be sure the plant pot is large enough for the root system, because with the warmth your plant will continue to grow throughout the winter.

Answer:	The optimal temperature is 37 °C (98.6 °F) so unless your ambient is at or above body heat, Kefir will benefit from a bit of extra heat. It will not grow well under 20 °C (68 °F) or over 45 °C (113 °F). Note that the 3" x 20" strips will wrap around a 6-7" jar.
