Question:	Will it work in clay soils, and if so, how well
Answer:	How well it works on clay depends on how compacted it is. With deeply rooted weeds in heavily compacted clay, the tool is very difficult to use. I had some issues with my heavily compacted clay, where it was unable to grab the weed.
Question:	does it work on crabgrass
Answer:	Crabgrass can be easily pulled by hand in most cases. This tool is designed to get rid of weeds that have a long tap root, like dandelions. It will work on most anything you want to get rid of.
Question:	How well does this work on Canadian Thistle? These have a deep tap root that has to be removed
Answer:	It was designed to pull broad leaf weeds like Dandelions which have a long tap root. Works pretty well especially if you get to the weeds when they are young. It is not 100%, it breaks off some roots if they are real long or the ground is hard. So it that is a concern use Crossbow spray.
Question:	Does it work on yards covered in small stones, no grass
Answer:	In my experience, it DOES work for areas with pebble-size to marble-sized stone landscaping rock. So long as the rock is loose enough to allow the tines to center atop the base of the weed, if the rocks will move aside when tines are inserted around the root, then the weed will be successfully extracted. I've used this one weeds up to 3 feet tall in such rock-ground-cover yards with success. However, if rocks are embedded in soil and immovable, then it probably won't be effective.

Question:	Will this work on clumps of crabgrass in the lawn
Answer:	I used this to remove clumps of crabgrass in my lawn. Just place it over the center part of the crabgrass. It really worked well! For thicker areas of crabgrass growth (more than just a clump), you’ll have to locate the center of each crabgrass clump so you can get it at the root.
Question:	What is the difference between this lower priced version and the version selling for

Question:	Has anyone tried this tool on an established Dallis Grass clump? Can anyone take a guess
Answer:	I don't know what Dallis grass is, but I don't think it would work. This thing only opens to about 1-1/2 inches, and the prongs are only about 2" long. It doesn't work for dandelions, which it was supposedly made for, because it breaks off the root about 2" down. The weed will probably grow back. Their ad said it would pull the whole root, but it doesn't.
Question:	Can you pull weeds from clay or tropical soil
Answer:	yes, if moist enough and if it's the right type of weed (works best on weeds that have a center root and sturdy lateral stalks; weed must be big enough or it just slips thru the tines; it doesn't work for me on the type of weeds that is pictured on the website). For the type of weeds I described, I prefer the Yard Butler RKT-1000 Rocket Weeder Steel Weed Remover

Answer:	This wonderful garden tool is for digging and moving rock or dirt to get at the root of what you want to remove. The head is too wide to get between brick, in my opinion.

Answer:	I hate Bermuda grass!! I did see a video sonewhere along the way (maybe the cobrahead website?) where a guy was demonstrating on Bermuda grass, and it worked very well. Something to remember when trying to eradicate Bermuda: any speck of any part of the weed-grass will start a new plant. So if you leave behind a bit of the blade, or even a smidgen of root, presto, new weeds. Also, to make matters worse, THE ROOTS GO DOWN FOUR FEET!!! Recommend not composting it, either. Good luck getting rid of your Bermuda.
Question:	Will this work to take out strawberries that have taken over a flower bed
Answer:	Yes I believe it will work. I haven't used it for that purpose but other plants with similar growth patterns.....the lateral growth of strawberries certainly takes more effort and just a little practice with this weeder.

Answer:	I think it depends on how well established the roots/plants are but I would say in general it does a good job of getting the tap root on weeds but I don’t think it was designed for bushes like blackberries.
Question:	The first time I used this, after three successful weed extractions the grabber clogged up with dirt and would not release it? Happen to anyone else
Answer:	Ours has worked fine, but my husband pushed down the weed release each time. Try clearing the spikes each time.

Question:	I have a quick spreading flower. The bulbs are deep. Is this good for deep bulbs
Answer:	Wish I understood your question better...the tip can go in about 2 to nearly 3 inches....works great for those surface spreading weeds that grow on hard ground. Doubt this would go deep enough to disturb deep bulbs.

Question:	Would this work on Texas clay soil or should I get something else
Answer:	This will help break up the clay soil on a small scale. If you have very dense clay, try breaking it up with a rototiller for a large area.
Question:	what is the difference between a garden trowel and a spade
Answer:	Usually a garden trowel has what I think of as a "traditional" shovel shape, and is held in one hand. A spade has a full-sized handle (meaning if the blade is resting on the ground the handle comes up to a height somewhere between your belly and chest) and rather than coming to a point - the end of the blade is straight (square). I use a trowel to dig small holes and I use a spade when I want a straight edge instead of a point (cutting out squares of sod, for example). Hope this info has helped, and all the best to you!

Answer:	There no reason to sharpen it. I have been using mine for a while and it works as good as the day I got it.
Question:	Does this work well for weeds in a gravel yard
Answer:	Our answer is 'probably'. We don't have a gravel yard & the tool worked great in pulling weeds. Might depend on how deep the gravel is?
Question:	Where is it made
Answer:	No idea, but that doesn't matter if you need a terrific tool. I used it to pull about 200 pounds of crabgrass by their roots. It gives you great leverage in that instance.
