Answer:	Thank you for your excellent question. The pH of the water can affect your results. In areas that have excessively hard water (water with lots of minerals in it), the pH of the water will be strongly alkaline (pH of 8.5 and higher), and this can impact the reading you will get from your Garden Tutor Soil pH Test Strips. The impact is typically about .5 of a point for pH, but the drift can be up to 1 point. For most gardeners getting a pH reading within .5 of a point is sufficient. Most municipal tap water has a pH of 6.5 to 8.5, so using tap water will be OK but may cause your reading to be off about .5 of a point. If you want to get the best reading possible from your test strips, it's a good idea to use fresh unopened distilled water. You can check the manufacturing date on the unopened distilled water container, and if it is under 30 days old, it should be about a 7.0 pH. When using distilled water, you can be assured that you will be getting the most accurate soil pH reading possible. One of the main reasons distilled water is used for soil pH testing is that it has a low "buffer capacity" and will not meaningfully impact the actual pH reading of a soil sample. Answer:	It doesn't attach to the wall. You just hold it against the wall. You can choose between having it measure from the bottom or the top (where the beam comes out). This is strictly for measuring, not leveling.

Answer:	It is 5" long, about 2" wide, and about 1" thick. I am quite happy with this device. I use it to measure houses for architectural documentation.

Answer:	I think, and this is just me... the smallest should be about the same size as the red laser dot of the equipment. The principle is to get a reflection (reflective tape) from the tape back to the tachometer. But since the router shaft diameter is so small, you are free to make adjustments, experiments or your imaginations to do it.

Easy to Use:

Just insert the sensor probe into the soil about 2-4 inches, toggle switch to test moisture, pH, sunlight you would like to measure, then wait for a few minutes till the pointer stops swinging to get a stable reading on the scale dial.

How to Use:

Step 1: Switch to humidity / pH / light position according to demand Step 2: Insert the probe into the soil about 2-4 inches

Step 3 :Adjust the position of the probe until the pointer on the dial slightly swings

Step 4: Check the humidity / pH / brightness of the dial after 10 minutes

Step 5: Remove probe from soil and wipe clean after each use

1.Do not put it into the water, It can only for use in soil !

2.Be careful not to touch stones when inserting electrodes.

3. If the soil is too dry the indicator will not move, and water it before testing.

4. Do not force it into very hard soil or touch hard objects since it will be easy to damage the probe .

5. Do not leave the meter in the soil for a long time .
