Answer:	Agree with those who say spikes do nothing to aerate a lawn. You do not see any commercial lawn care professionals use spikers. You need to plug to make any difference.
Question:	Are the cores tapered or straight? Sometimes straight pipe cores will clog when tapered cores clear out more easily in clay soil
Answer:	Haven't tried it; but I think it would be difficult.

Answer:	The CAT 0 Implement is designed to be used as a rear grading blade and designed for garden tractor/ATV/UTV usage.

Question:	can a person with average flexibility (for a 70 year old) operate the lift for crossing driveways and sidewalks while seated on the tractor
Answer:	All 3 bowls are 4.5-5" deep, but the water level in each, when in action, is only about 2.5" deep. Without wind outside, I do not see any water spots on the patio, thus indicating that no droplets are being splashed out beyond the rim of the lower bowls. And you can control where the falling water hits the two pools below (in relation to hitting the center of the lower bowls, versus closer to the rims), by using shims under the perimeter of the base to tilt the fountain in directions which might insure that the water hits where it is least likely to "spit" over the edge. But, I believe the bowls are deep enough that the splashing that does occur, can't rise over the rims. Having said that, the unit that I have, sits on my concrete patio, and I noticed at the start that when my unit is running, I see some water, moistening the pavement, at the base, so I have a small leak somewhere inside the unit. But that is a difficult situation to trouble shoot, since I can't look up inside while it is full of water and running. So, if you buy this unit, be sure to activate it right away, upon purchase to check for any leaks, so that you can return it for a replacement. I might also add that I bought mine at Lampsplus dot com, who unquestionably have the largest selection of fountains of any resource on line, which I know from many hours of searching for the right style. And they have superb customer service to guarantee your satisfaction, on any defects.

Answer:	some where between 3.5 and 4 gallons of water. As the previous comments have mentioned that if the winds blows a lot it will splash the water out. However, I live in San Antonio and we have 100 degree days in the summer and I fill mine every 2 to 3 days due to the heat. I have seen where the birds have made this a bird bath and they splash the water out as well. I love mine and it is beautiful at night I would buy it again.

Question:	Mine came missing the main shaft, who do I contact to to get one sent to me
Answer:	I’d call the manufacturer. Mine came with one bolt that was the wrong size. I called the manufacturer and they sent a replacement out in 2 days. Did your shipping box have any holes in it? The shaft is just a straight rod. It would be pretty easy for it to slip out of the box if there were a hole in one end.

Answer:	I have had mine about 2 years now, used it for 5 large pieces of land, some a little bumpy, but mostly flat. Works great with 3 8x8x16 cinder-blocks strapped in for weight. I think it works great and seems to be quite durable. Like someone else said, clear the mud and small rocks from the knives, clean it, keep it inside if you can, it should last for years. Wear gloves to assemble or you'll surely bleed. Sharp knives. Then you'll want to sharpen them up for the next season. Like the product. Glad I bought it.

Answer:	I don’t believe it has any storage capability. It has just the solar collector and wire and pump. Mine only works when the sun hits the solar panel. Cover the panel and the pump stops.

Answer:	Not sure I can answer all question. Not aware of extension cable....No battery backup....mine is in 2" of water. This little pump works great as long as the panel receives sun. Hope that helps.

Answer:	I believe it would damage tines. Never tried pulling it toward me, I put up on wheels to pull.
Question:	does the motor cut out on this one like on the AJ800E? lots of complaints about that one. Please let me know thanks
Answer:	I never experienced that but my lawn is only 40 x 80 ft so I may have not run it long enough for the motor to overheat. Or maybe the others are using it without the bag and cutting deeper. I got about 120ft into my lawn and it was time to stop and empty the bag. I was very pleased with the result (it dug up the dead grass without laying waste to the live grass) and it performed much better than the one I got from the rental company. If I run it one more time, it will have paid for itself. Your results may vary but I am happy with its performance!
Question:	Does anyone use this for picking very small leaves from lawn
Answer:	This machine works great for hatching your lawn. I don't use the bag because it fills up so fast. I go over the lawn with it then go over it again with the mower to pick up all of the stuff it pulls up. I have had multiple neighbors use it and it is by far worth to money.

Answer:	It is more a specific wire gauge depending upon the length of the extension cord that is intended to be used.As per the user's manual from SunJoe, please note the following:The wire gauge must be 14 for cord lengths 50 and under.The wire gauge must be 12 for cord lengths over 50 feet up to 100 feet.It is important to adhere to the manufacturer's guideline so the machine functions properly.

Question:	Can tines be removed for narrower tilling area
Answer:	yes, but...the tines are an assembly of 3 held to the shaft with a through bolt. If you removed one assembly you could till with just one side, but the tiller is still over a foot wide and the empty shaft is still sticking out even without the tines. this is a powerful machine, I would look at a lighter, narrower tiller if you want to do a more narrow area.
Question:	Is 13.5 amps too much for a 15 amp circuit
Answer:	You will be fine on a 15A circuit. Recommendations from the manufacturer are 14/3 (14gauge 3conductor) extension cord for up to 50ft and 12/3 extension cord for up to 100ft. Total length should not exceed 100ft however I'm sure a 10/3 extension cord would be fine for more than 100ft but a 10/3 extension cord would be very expensive. Please be aware that the tiller pulls the most current with the tines are digging deep in the soil and the motor is bogging down and under extreme strain it's possible it might pop the breaker on a 15A circuit.
Question:	has anyone compared the 12 amp model to the 13.5 amp one? is it worth spending the extra money to get the 13.5 amp tiller
Answer:	depends on what type soil you have. My 13.5 amp will till our Missouri soil.after a rain, sun baked like concrete

Answer:	There's an easy way to calculate the power of an electrical motor. First you multiply the volts times the amps to find the total power in watts, in this case 120 volts times 13.5 amps equals 1,620 watts. Next, you figure in an average 85% efficiency for electric motors to get 1,377 watts. (It's fair to assume this low-cost AC appliance uses a typical AC induction motor which is probably more like 80% efficiency, and the manufacturer doesn't claim anything better, but let's give them the benefit of the doubt since there are some electric motors that exceed 95% efficiency.) Then, you consider that you'll always be using this while plugged into an extension cord. Let's say it's the typical $30 14 gauge, 50 foot cord that's common (but be aware that longer or shorter cords, or higher or lower wire gauge, will change this) and factor in another 3% drop in power, so you have 1,335 watts at the machine.Now, 1335 watts is about 1.8 horsepower. Question:	What is the rate per gallon of water
Answer:	I tow it with a rear engine 13.5 hp sears 30" mower..so reaching the adjustment handle is near impossible to reach from my seat. I need to get off the tractor to lift and reset at each pass meeting pavement. It is not extremely heavy but more oxy and clumsy if you need to personally lift it and move it. But if you have a open spot in a shed or garage where as you can back in and hook it up and do your aerating it shoukd be fine. I absolutely love mine.
