I recommend wearing heavy boots when using the sandals to better tighten the straps on the foot. The strap and base is sturdy, the metal parts of the item is good. Instruction Sheet

1.Insert spikes into the sandals and secure it tightly with the nut. Be careful of sharp nails when assemble.

2.Loop one strap through the forefoot holes and another one to the heel side holes, then adjust the straps a bit to fit your footwear. (Recommend the heel shape as below.)

3.Strap the sandals over your shoes or boots(It is not recommended to use barefoot) by sliding the strap end through the buckles, If needed, a cloth or pad can be placed between the plate and insert comfort. Shorten the strap and melt its end by fire carefully.

4.If the soil is too dry, watering the lawn before take a walk.

5.Walk carefully and slowly over lawn to aerate.
