Answer:	I think that the weight was listed in the description info. As a male, it is a comfortable weight, but could be a little heavy for a smaller female, especially if working overhead.

Answer:	These are more sturdy. But this Power Gear 2 weighs about twice as much as the original Power Gear. Really disappointing that you can't find the original any more.
Question:	I see a reviewer said that his mesoga anvil lopper rusted in the case after several months in the garage. how do we prevent this
Answer:	I was able to find and purchase replacement blades for the original PowerGear. Shipping was high so I ordered 5 to save money but with propper care and light filing I have only used 2 after 1yr of heavy business use.Fiskars blades only have a 1/8in blade overlap (allows more cutting capacity) so they must be just slightly sharpened and they work fine. My dad tried to sharpen his chipped blade and took too much off and ruined it.Just don't cut roots in dirt, too dry limbs, chain link fencing, or twist the blade. I find my employees always try cutting roots without properly cleaning them (roots) and it ALWAYS dulls or chips the blades, even if you think it wouldn't. I have to threaten employees to pay for damage and then they treat them better.

Answer:	This has been a great product. I bought it several years ago at a local Home and Builders show. I recently broke half of the blade off. After much searching and a call to Zenport, they do not sell replacement blades. Crazy! It is a great product but I cannot recommend buying it because they do not sell a replacement blade.

Answer:	I have 20 really big Austrian Black Pines. So, I have an area about 200' x 20' with pine needles. The rake scrapes them all up easily, to be put into my small dump-trailer to take to my burn pile. Quick and easy.

Question:	I am an older lady and not tall and long armed. Do you need to open the handles fully to cut various sized branches
Answer:	Not really packaging per se...It came in a sturdy box and it is not the the first set of lopers that I have owned...I am pretty rough on my outdoor-care-type-tools so when these get "tired" I will get pretty much the same thing again !!!
Question:	Does anyone know if these blades fit the fiskars brand
Answer:	Mine had a snap that well just snapped open and closed to protect the blades when not in use. Sorry I can't be more help....they are great cutters though.

Answer:	It is a scissors cut. We have 40 acres with loads of piñon, and juniper and cedar that always needs pruning. These cut so well. I had a pair for over 15 years and treated myself to a new pair last year. I should mention I'm a petite 70 year old woman and these loppers make cutting through branches almost 2"s in diameter easy.
Question:	Do these loppers tend to rust if you leave them in an outdoor shed? My old loppers were impervious to rush, but my Fiskars trimmers rusted right away
Answer:	By design this is fairly heavy in order to make it strong enough to work. Even though its designed to give more leverage for cutting branches, it still takes a lot of strenght to cut 1/2" or larger branches. I bought these because they make it easier to cut, but they still require a fair amount of hand strehght.

Answer:	Yes it has a steel handles. When you operate the extension you have to be sure to twist handles to lock it in position. Works nicely.

Question:	Is this a by pass lopper or an anvil lopper
Answer:	I am not aware of a hook. Mine came with a saw blade (not attatched). By the way, it is my experience that in general the saw blades are relatively useless as it is very hard to put any muscle into it from so far away.
Question:	Does the lopper have a maximizer lever
Answer:	Some pruner head has a hook, but some without it. It’s function take the hook off branches. Thanks.
