Question:	How many fruits can the basket hold at one time
Answer:	Buy a 3 ft. high hanging plant pole with ground stake. They are not expensive. You can find them here at amazon, walmart.com or your at your local Lowe's or garden center store. Drive the stake into the ground 50 feet away from your house. The trap attractant and dead flies smell bad enough to make you gag. (Like a full dumpster on a hot day!). Don’t worry about the 50 ft. distance, the trap will attract and catch zillions of flies and keep them away from your outdoor living space. This stuff works like a charm. If the soil is too hard to drive the stake (drive = stand on it and stomp), drench the soil with a water hose first. Try not to get the soil wet outside the parameter of the stake width. If you have sandy, loamy of soft soil, you can always surround the pole with rocks to make it sturdy.
Question:	Where is this made
Answer:	Absolutely. I usually use a ziploc bag, picking the full trap up through the bag so I never have to touch the trap. I seal the bag and wrap it in several other bags. A word of caution - only collect the trap for disposal as soon prior to your trash collection as possible, as once it goes into an enclosed garbage can, the smell will proliferate. They are very effective traps, and worth the special handling they need for disposal.

Answer:	I live on a semi rural two acre lot. I do a lot of grilling and outdoor cooking. Before I started using traps, flies would cover my deck area as soon as I lit the grill. I put up one bag type trap about two years ago, 75 feet from my deck and about 20 feet from my trash cans and in a month it was bursting at the seams. I replaced it with another and it never did fill up completely before winter. The fly population around my back yard was almost wiped out. I switched to these because the squirrels were tearing the bags. They both work equally well. I'm on my second one this year and it's about half full. Almost no problem around my deck. I just use one at a time. How many you need would depend on your fly problem I guess. If your on a farm with livestock you would probably need a lot. If your like me one or two would probably be enough. I'm no fly expert but I understand they are territorial and stay close to a given area. This has proven out at my home. Remember, the smell from the bait is pretty bad so you don't want them too close to patios or decks, and upstream of prevailing winds.

Question:	Once you have grabbed the fruit, how do u get the pole to slide back down again? Are there release clips toward the bottom of the pole
Answer:	I had to look up pictures of how avocados grow to see if they hang down from branches. Some of the pictures showed huge clumps all growing close together. That might be hard to pick a single fruit. It also depends on how tough the stem connecting the fruit to the tree is. The picker works by catching the fruit in the basket with the stem catching between the wire "fingers". You then pull down and out a little so the fruit separates from the branch. If the stem is too tough it probably wouldn't work.
Question:	How does this work? We have an avacodo tree with fruit we can't reach. Does it somehow grab the fruit so we can pull it from the tree

Answer:	Yes, it does and it worked well I was able to pick pears and apples almost 20 feet up in the tree. The thread on my pole fits a standard paint roller and this fruit picked threaded right on.

Answer:	Not sure. If the figs are ripe, you may end up tearing the figs. I think it would be for larger firmer fruit.

Answer:	I am very happy with this purchase! It works great! You twist each piece together to construct the pole. To connect the fruit picker there are two clamps with wing type fasteners that you tighten above and below the top tabs on the pole. It works great and will not come apart. I'd say if it seems to be loosening, then just tighten it up. I have used it a lot (I have a tangerine and a grapefruit tree) and haven't had to tighten it once! Great purchase!

Question:	Does it work for picking figs
Answer:	the pole is inside a sleeve. There are stationary clips that you release and extend the pole and then lock them again. After you pick fruit you can release the clip again and it slides down inside. It can come down fast. THe clips are always at the end of the outer sleeve about 4 1/2 feet ish.
Question:	My last fruit picker had a twisting lock for the extension, but the lock broke, so it only reached 1/2 as far. How does this extension fasten
Answer:	Hi Sharon, Fruit Picker Instructions: 1) Securely twist the fruit harvester basket onto the threaded tip of the telescopic pole. 2) Guide fruit to be harvested into the wire basket. 3) Line-up the fruit stem in between two of the long prongs and gently pull down. 4) The foam cushion will prevent bruising. The telescopic pole can extend from 5ft to 13ft so it should be able to reach fruit up to 20 ft if you are holding it overhead.
