Answer:	Yes. I am in Florida, I understand. We bought mesh material and made windows to allow airflow for the summer, but still keep the squirrels and bunnies out of our vegetables. In the cooler months we can still close up the windows with the flaps we created. Working so far. But, yes, it is simply open if the cover is not on the frame.

Question:	Does this come with shelving
Answer:	No, it does not come with shelving. I just bought one last week and put it up. There is room for shelving however. I bought the 15x7x7. It's easy to setup and fairly sturdy. Not bad for the price.Time for me to see if the canopy will stand up to the extremely hot Southern California summer.
Question:	Anyone try growing weed in these? fyi I live in Oregon, its legal
Answer:	We just harvested 4 plants from it - bad upper ventilation, the higher portion of the greenhouse gets much too hot and your options are hope a cross-breeze blows while the windows are open or roll up the door and let all your heat out. - bad window sealing, leaks a lot of heat once it starts to cool down - cramped if your weed is a bushy strain, you'll be getting sticky trying to push past it unless you trim or shape it. Get the wider one if you have room. If you can run electricity out to it then get a fan, your plants will definitely need it especially in Oregon weather.
Question:	Does the covering let in enough sunlight
Answer:	It seems to. I know the pictures make the covering look dark, but plenty of light gets in.
Question:	I live in nh. And plan to use this in the summer for vegetables. Has anyone had a problem with your plants frying or do the vents make it ok
Answer:	This is my third such and similar greenhouse kit, all by different makers. It's also the best of the bunch in that the framing is the best quality tubing so far, and the best quality zipper for the door so far as well, definite issues experienced with the first 2. I just ordered another of this exact product as well for my next one. I use them for succulents, and I also have the kit covered with a large shade cloth as well. I also anchor the kit to the ground with concrete pillars buried at the corners, with 2X4 pressure treated wood flush with the ground as a wooden frame attached to the 4 pillars, which the metal kit framing is then attached to with 3/4" conduit clamps. The shade cloth is stretched over the entire top and sides, just barely over the ends, and fastened with eye screws to the wooden frame. The outer covering overlap at the ground is secured and covered with a row of concrete 1X1' pavers, which I also use to line with certain potted plants that don't mind direct sun, and I also use the pavers as a floor for the inside. Afterwards, I don't worry about the kit blowing away in high winds, or UV rays burning my plants inside, or prematurely deteriorating the top greenhouse covering. In summer, the "door" and vents stay open, and with the shade cloth action, it remains cooler than outdoors. When closed up, and if cold out, the early morning sun heats up the inside considerably and quickly, which is desirable for my usage. For the money, even with the additional expenses to make the kit more usable and lasting, they are very cost efficient for the "indoor" space acquired, and as mentioned, this is the best product from 3 different manufacturers I've tried to date.I know my answer is more than you asked for, but it capsulizes all of my experience regarding concerns for these type of products, and my improvements make it even better - stronger and longer lasting.

Answer:	Yes! I'm germinating seeds outside in an unheated greenhouse - works great with heat mats. I'm using jiffy #7 size peat pods in the cells - not an exact fit, but close enough.

Answer:	Fine on seed starting heat mat..have them on one with thermostat control at 78 degrees and no issues..turn off heat mat once seeds sprout...

Answer:	I think you would start with them closed and then as your seeds sprout, then you open the vent to provide air to your growing plants
