Answer:	4 pairs total- Two pairs (one of each color) are claws on both hands. Two pairs (one of each color) are clawless. I gave one pair of claws and one pair without to my mom and the other set to my MIL. Each of them have used in different ways, no claws, both claws, or one of each. They really like how versatile they are!! I highly recommend! It was two gifts in one for me!
