Answer:	My unit opens very easily. I have to clear the door occasionally of small debris that collect in the track the door uses. If yours was difficult to open day one use some sand paper on the door ( bottom and top edge) and / or the main unit track (to remove any plastic molding leftovers). This could solve the problem and be easier on you than a return. If no amount of removing burrs etc. helps the situation then a return may be necessary. Mold injection plastic is notorious for having to have its edges cleaned up a bit. This often is not done as much as is needed at the end of the manufacturing process. I regularly have to finish the job on plastic mold injection products. I love my unit. It is the perfect size for my porch and for me to pick up and empty. It does spill out small particles through vent holes... something one needs to expect and understand as part of the design.

Answer:	Ours pretty much filled up in three weeks. It's ready based on how much sun you get really. We rolled ours everyday. Also, make sure to put in a little bit of moisture. Also need some grass clippings and leaves from the yard, get it going faster. Last tip: Cut up your scraps when convenient. The smaller the stuff you put in, the faster it composts!

I do recommend running the fan all the time if possible.You can mount it as close to the wall as you like but you will have to pull the toilet out from the wall to empty the urine bottle . Answer:	Since space is limited on Amazon for things like instructions it is advisable to get details on our website. But to give a brief answer. The urine side should be emptied every other day or so under normal daily use for two people. The solids should be emptied after about 80 uses. Things start composting quickly so the solids take up little space. All that is needed after use is a spray bottle with water and a toilet brush. It's good practice to not get a lot of water mixed with the solids.

(I didn't realize what a difference this would make!) 2) The heat press is HEAVY. I've been amazed how much better my work turns out when I'm a little more careful about the timing. These are the three major advantages I've found in using a heat press over my iron. Answer:	Don’t really know because it was bought for my wife who has two other compost containers. She has transferred some material to the new one. She does love her new composter. States that it is exactly what she wasted.

Answer:	Very little because of you fill it too full then the plastic breaks. It is a horrible composted. Don't waste your money!
Question:	How is this put together? Are the tumblers one piece or do you join two or more pieces to put together each tumbler? How many screws? Thanks
Answer:	The instructions to assemble should be with the tumbler, together with a list of all the parts.
Question:	Can you tell me the assembled dimensions
Answer:	Tracy, push the open/close slide in to the open position, then turn the lid counter clockwise. It seems like it is stuck but muscle it, and it will open. After that file down the small round little nibs in each of the four 'L' shaped air vents and that will make the lid easier to turn. Do the same thing on the other side of the barrel. It is not hard to file the plastic and it is worth the effort because my tumbler is working well and it really does cook compost efficiently.

Answer:	This a good question because the thick, white insulation that lines the interiors of both chambers will look in a still photograph like (crumbly) styrofoam. However, it isn't. It's a hardy, pliable closed-cell foam. No pieces have torn off from its being jabbed by garden tools.

Answer:	The key to composting success at anytime is a well balanced mix of carbon and nitrogen. The Jora was invented in Sweden, by a guy named Jonathan Ramois (fun fact!) to facilitate year round composting in a harsh climate! If your the compost is inactive - or frozen - it is because your compost is too wet, and you need to be adding more carbon along with your kitchen scraps. Keeping the balance of carbon, nitrogen and oxygen optimal in your composter is important for the microbes in your compost to survive and thrive. Keeping this balance becomes intuitive as you get going, keeping the compost moist, but not wet or dry is the best indicator of proper balance. Every time you add kitchen scraps, add a bit of carbon and give the tumbler a few turns to add oxygen, and assimilate the working microbes into your new waste. My JK270 steams nicely all year around when I am paying attention to my balance, and tumbling regularly! I hope this helps! :)
