Answer:	I have no idea. We had a smaller one before but felt this size would benefit us more and it has. Answer:	The latches are tight, but bears are very clever creatures. And strong. They can even open car doors. :-) So we would not say it is bear proof. It will keep out raccoons, though.

Answer:	Don’t really know because it was bought for my wife who has two other compost containers. She has transferred some material to the new one. She does love her new composter. States that it is exactly what she wasted.

Answer:	I find it very stable. Most of the time one side is full and “cooking” while I am filling the other side. If you need to you could put sand bags on the base. Here in California I get 2 buckets of lovely soil from one side very 3 to 4 weeks

Answer:	My guess is if it's Israeli it's made by Keter who makes plastic sheds, deck boxes etc.

Answer:	I made 2 batches so far. The 1st I filled 3/4 full and let it sit. Over time the pile lessened to about 1/2 as it composted. I filled the 2nd chamber full and am waiting for it to do its work...after 2 weeks it’s still pretty full, although it has decreased, and continues to compost.
Question:	Is this tumbler suitable to be sitting in direct sun in the Central Valley? 110F is not unusual

Answer:	I use a teflon sheet and no you don't have to press too hard. I used to use my iron and this thing is AAAAAmazing!!! Time and heat control... no more guessing or over heating.

Answer:	Your iron may be greatly superior to mine...But the advantages that this heat press has over my iron are these: 1) I'm able set the exact temperature I need. (I didn't realize what a difference this would make!) 2) The heat press is HEAVY. I want a lightweight iron for ironing clothes, but want pressure (which weight provides) for heat transfer designs. 3) This heat press has a timer. I've been amazed how much better my work turns out when I'm a little more careful about the timing. These are the three major advantages I've found in using a heat press over my iron. To be truthful, any heat press probably delivers these. But the smaller, more compact size (even with the largest, the 12 x 10--which I purchased), and hence, easier storage when not in use...is what tipped the scales for me when choosing the Cricut over the other brands of heat presses. Answer:	To get the fastest composting results, yes, you should stir the contents. If it's not stirred, it will still decompose but it will just take longer.

Answer:	Without going out to measure, it is not more than three feet tall. The picture is deceiving, but it works very well. Only today I removed 23 gal of compost for my potato beds. It is amazing how much garden waste, kitchen waster,coffee grinds and tea bags it composts. Run the hose in about once a week .

Answer:	There are groups of slots around the composter for ventilation and a door at the bottom to access compost.

Answer:	NOTHING is bear proof! Seriously, I had to duct tape the bottom vents because small animals were chewing through the plastic and scattering composted vegetables all around. I wouldn't but this item again but it's ok now with the duct tape. You'd do better with a less expensive model that doesn't have those ground level vents.

Answer:	I left it open and created a tube to connect and made a separate turn on/off knob on the outside. Way easier than trying to twist that knob on it. Good luck.

Answer:	absolutely. it continues to feed the organisms which generates heat etc. the material gets processed to the bottom of the unit, you remove it and reload. be sure to drain the "tea" from the bottom.

Answer:	My screws and fasteners are jet black in color. I do not know what they are made of but, so far, none of them have rusted.
