Pro Stenciling Tips:

Use painter’s tape to secure or mask off areas of the design

For acrylics or other wet mediums, remove excess from the brush or applicator when loading. Apply mediums in multiple layers, as dryly as possible to prevent bleed-under.

For dimensional mediums (i.e. pastes, frostings for cakes & cookies), apply with offset spatula or palette knife. Remove stencil by lifting straight up.

Stencil Care & Precautions:

Wash with warm soap and water immediately after use. Wash before using with food or cosmetics.

Do not use with ammonia-based cleaners, as it may damage the stencil.

Answer:	If the picture frame has a chalk-style paint on it then this paste wax will adhere and dry. If the plastic is not painted and very smooth, then the wax might have a difficult time adhering to the plastic.

Answer:	The product is a wax that can be applied really to any surface, even a poly finish. It is a wax, not a paint like product which means it is not a finish like a paint or polyurethane. It is good for adding color to corners and nooks and crannies. You could apply additional poly over it if you’d like to protect your ‘antiquing’

Answer:	I don’t even remember the dimensions. I do remember that thing not being at all what we thought and if it rained all that rain water would get in a soak the chickens and the bedding. Also we could only fit 2 chickens comfortably. It’s super small.

Question:	Cannot assemble egg box floor. What am I missing? How do it put it in
Answer:	You can apply it over your dried paint. Doesn’t have to be freshly painted. I waited about 2 days to put the clear coat on. Make sure there is no dust or dirt on it a easy wipe down with a tack or just damp clothe. I have a dog and cat, so I wanted to make sure I wouldn’t paint any fur into it. I did two coats of the clear because of missed spots. Did them 1-3 days apart.

Answer:	They have Gator Hide that I used over the chalk paint for a cabinet. I refinished for use in my kitchen. I use the top for my toaster oven and for getting things out of the microwave, so I often have crumbs and spills. I have wiped it off often and have used Method Grapefruit Spray cleaner on it too just a couple of times. It's been holding up really well for about 3 yrs. now. Used the Gator Hide on a shelf in the kitchen so I could wipe off any grime that kitchen stuff may get from cooking and it's been great!

Answer:	I would put no more than four in it unless they are very large and then only two. Six bantams would probably be ok.

Answer:	This is more ideal for 2-4 hens. Your flock wouldn't fit in this coop.

Answer:	Don’t have exact dimensions any more. It stands about 4 ft high, maybe 2 ft wide and 3-4 long(?). It’s pretty flimsy wood but it is cute. The wind here in Idaho knocks it over , tack it down.

Answer:	I ended up adjusting it myself. Wood tends to shrink and expand, at one point I couldn’t lock this thing.... I wish most parts were metal or hard plastic

Answer:	I put a two wheeled dolly under the back of it. The protruding nest box holds the dolly at a perfect angle to easily move it around by lifting and pulling it from the front!

Answer:	We got three boxes but not all on the same day.
Question:	So why is the automatic door not available anymore for this coop
Answer:	We used both. We wove the wire around the bottom bars to keep the chicken wire right, and we used the zip ties everywhere else. Installing the chicken wire was a big task, but it turned out great.
Question:	Is the floor of this coop suitable for deep litter method
Answer:	We disassembled ours to move it to a new house. It was pretty easy.
Question:	Is the house insultated for the winter in wisconsin
Answer:	You have to stretch the wire across in 2 sections on the sides but then you also have to cut out the back portion & then the front sections & the door. Not easy at all.

Step One

Place FLOOR in desired location.

Important: Floor must be level in both directions.

Find the bag with the drill bits, keys, and touch up paint (to repair any mars on pre-painted surfaces).

Step Two

Place BACK WALL (A), making sure wall is tight against floor and ends of wall line up with marks provided on floor.

Drive 4 pre-started screws on the bottom.

Step Three

Place CHICKEN DOOR GABLE WALL (B)

Siding from BACK WALL will slide into cavity provided. Make sure wall is tight against floor.

Drive 3 pre-started screws on corners, then drive 4 pre-started screws into floor.

Step Four

Place FRONT WALL (C), making sure wall is tight against lower support wall.

Siding from FRONT WALL Will slide into cavity provided in CHICKEN DOOR GABLE WALL.

Drive 3 pre-started screws on corners, then drive 4 pre-started screws on bottom.

Step Five

Install MAN DOOR GABLE WALL (D).

Siding from BACK WALL and FRONT WALL will slide into cavities provided.

Make sure wall is tight against floor.

Drive 3 pre-started screws on corners, then drive 4 pre-started screws into floor.

Step Six

Install ROOF PIECE (E).

(When viewing coop from back, E is placed on left half of roof.)

Lower front edge of ROOF PIECE (E) onto FRONT WALL first, then lower back edge onto BACK WALL.

Drive the 6 pre-started screws that are in the top of the wall into the roof panel.

Step Seven

Install ROOF PIECE (F).

(When viewing coop from back, ROOF PIECE (F) is placed on right half.)

Lower front edge of ROOF PIECE (F) onto FRONT WALL first, then lower back edge onto BACK WALL.

Important: ROOF PIECE (F) overlaps ROOF PIECE (E) at the center of the coop.

Drive the 6 pre-started screws that are in the top of the wall into the roof panel. Screw the 2 pre-started screws into the roof panel (E).

Step Eight

Put black screw in the bottom hinge of door.

Drop ROOST BARS into slots provided on inside of gable walls.

Hook CHICKEN RAMP at bottom of chicken door.

NOTE: To loosen or tighten door latches, use supplied allen wrench. Loosen small screw on inside of latch with allen wrench, moving the latch in or out. Tighten screw and test.

Answer:	Yes. That said, white or very light pigmented chalk paint will typically take one if not two additional coats... and for dark cherrywood-like stain, up to four. It will still cover the furniture's sins, it will simply take more coats is all. Depending on the size of furniture, more than one jar may be needed. What are you painting? Happy painting.
Question:	Are the eggs solid wood or hollow
Answer:	Hi, this dries in a Matte finish. It also dries quickly. Normal indoor temps it dries in 10-15 min. It is perfect for wood crafts!
Question:	I am considering these for my laying hens. Chickens are very messy. Are they coated with a water proof paint? Can these eggs be washed
Answer:	You can, but we do not recommend it. The paint dries very flat and that makes for challenging wall clean up. You are best off using a traditional wall paint over sheet rock.

Answer:	I keep 4 full size chickens in my coop but it will hold 6 or 7 of the smaller kind. I could put 5 big chicken but I like my chickens to have lots of room so 4 rode island reds is good for me

Answer:	Depending on what breed you have, I would say 4 standard chickens or 5 to 6 bantams
Question:	Will this hold up in snow and rain if sealed? Will this also fit 6 small sebright bantams? They will be in the coop to roost and lay
Answer:	It will probably hold up ok in snow and rain if sealed. We built and reinforced with construction adhesive and much bigger screws. We live in Oregon so we get a lot of rain. Because of that we reinforced around the bottom with 2×4s so it wouldn't be sitting in wet dirt. The only thing that the rain has effected so far is the door has swollen a bit and makes it a little tough to close. We have 3 large black australorps that use it and I think it's a good size for them. I see that sebrights are pretty small so 6 may fit in there ok. We added a higher up natural roosting stick that ours seem to prefer as the ones that come with it are very low in the coop.
