Answer:	All 8 frames fit 8 frames and all 10 frames fit 10 frames There is a uniform size they all follow

Answer:	Sorry, We do not sell the 8 frame box separately at the moment.
Question:	Can these be painted if I want, even though it says they don’t have to be
Answer:	They have a really nice thick coat of wax, so they don't need to be painted. If you wanted to you would have to scrape the wax off, to help the paint adhere, which may damage the product. Best to leave it unpainted.
Question:	Can this be used with mason jars to collect the honey
Answer:	If you are referring to the hive where the honey is collected by opening a spigot to drain into a mason jar, then the answer is No. This is a traditionally designed hive where you need to remove the frames and collect the honey through a centrifuge.

Answer:	No, they're not assembled. It didn't take long to put them together with glue. The foundation doesn't meet the frame perfectly, but that's no problem. The gap isn't large.

Answer:	It does not come with a starter bee, you will have to buy a starter hive from a reputable dealer that includes a queen. A hive is approximately 6,000-10,000 bees not one bee. One bee will not live alone.

Answer:	These are 9 1/8 inch frames, people may refer to them as Langstroth.
Question:	I have Question/Is this bees wax? or mix wiht any plastic. what i am looking for is the bees wax.No plastic
Answer:	This is plastic foundation that has been coated in beeswax. My bees build on it without any problems and it can be used many times over. When the comb gets black and old on it, you melt it off in a pot of hot water and recoat the frames and begin anew.It works for everything except cutting out queen cells. For cutting out queen cells I use foundation that is formed on thin sheets of cellophane. Pure wax combs do not work very well in places where it gets really hot. the foundation melts unless the bees are building on it very quickly and keeping it cooled.If you are looking for foundation for brood then this stuff is great.

Hoover Hives are known for their beautiful and skillfully crafted beehives. Every exterior hive part that may encounter rain or snow has been built with Fir wood and has been coated in 100% natural beeswax to help weather the elements. We’ve thoughtfully chosen to use Fir wood over the traditional Pine because Fir has a tighter knit grain-flow within the wood than Pine does. This makes our exterior parts far more durable and less likely to shrink, expand, warp, or twist from the rain than Pine would. Once we’ve cut the wood, we dip each part into a pool of natural beeswax. We allow the beeswax to be soaked into the hive parts. This not only protects the wood, but is also what gives our hives their natural golden honey lustrous allure. The delicate details of our durable dovetails were designed to hold together for years to come and create a joint that will stay perfectly square. After months of testing, we decided to have our frames come from the forests of New Zealand Pine. We’ve chosen this wood because it handles the meticulous cuts that are necessary for the grooves in our frames better than Fir handled it.
