Question:	Does food fall from the grill since the grates are flush to the edge? Is it difficult to get under food before reaching the edge
Answer:	Yes, it can fall off. However, I bought 2 "Grill Grates" from The BBQ Guys site, which cover less than half of the wire grill surface, plus one of their multi-pronged grill spatulas, and that issue is mostly solved. The reason is that the special spatula allows one to insert the prongs, or fingers, in the channels of the Grill Grates, thus allowing one to pick up the meat by sliding the spatula in the valleys of the Grill Grates. If done carefully, it works like a charm. Sounds morecomplicated than it really is, but just go to the BBQ Guys site and you will see. I think a video of how the Grates and the spatula work is on their site.

Answer:	Yes it is safe. Firstly, the cooking surface is not aluminum. It is nickel plated steel. Even if your food were to come in contact with the aluminum grill casting, there is no conclusive evidence that the trace amounts of aluminum that might be passed to your food is harmful to humans. The World Health Organization estimates that people can safely consume up to 50mg per day of aluminum without harm. Sources estimate that food prepared directly in aluminum cookware could absorb 1 to 2 mg of Aluminum. So, we can conclude that cooking food inside a PK Grill does not pose any extraordinary health risks. We appreciate the question and hope the answer allays your concern.

Question:	Can lump charcoal be used with this grill? Will a full size packer brisket fit in this? Thanks
Answer:	Yes, you can use lump or briquets. A packer will fit but you won't be using an indirect cooking method. Have had good results smoking a brisket flat using the indirect cooking method. PK sells an elevated rack that might work on a whole packer if the lid clears. PK also sells a short rack that you can use to smoke a separated brisket using an indirect cook. That would be my choice because will need to replenish the coals and if you use the full-size rack you will have to remove it to add charcoal during the cook. There is a YouTube video a guy trying to fit a whole brisket and it doesn't fit.
Question:	How durable and funtionable are those two molded wheels? There does not appear to be muc clearance dthere...does the grill roll easily when needed
Answer:	Roll well on a smooth surface and they seem durable. Try to roll over the smallest stone/pebble and you’re in trouble.

Answer:	Yes you can on lower level racks .
Question:	How accurate is the thermometer
Answer:	I haven't tested the thermometer. What I do know is that I have trusted it enough on the 12 or so briskets I have done. I like to cook them at 250 degrees for a hour per pound. Always consistently great. Best answer I have for you.
Question:	Can the gas portion use natural gas
Answer:	This grill CANNOT be converted to natural gas as it is. I wanted to do this, and I broke a burner when attempting to change the orifice. They are sealed by the manufacturer. The cost for a replacement set of 4 burners was around $75. Natural gas is low pressure gas that does not require a regulator but does require an orifice with larger holes than propane and a control valve designed for natural gas. If you connect the stock burners directly to natural gas, the pressure is so low you do not get enough flame and heat to cook properly. I called the manufacturer who told me that there is no conversion kit for this grill, and there never will be. Too bad, because that would make this grill/smoker combo perfect in my book. That aside, I am using the propane which works well. I still love this unit for all the cooking options you get in one assembly: smoking, charcoal, and gas. There are grills designed to handle natural gas by using a conversion kit, but I haven't seen one as versatile as this unit. It's well built too.
