Step 1: Disassemble the Pen: Pull out the ink refill converter, then you can see a protrusion in the grip section, this part is what punctures the cartridge and carries ink to the tip.

Question:	is it the ink's color brown or black? thank you
Answer:	I'm not sure that it fits the Rotring Skynn. It is certainly a standard international converter, and is being marketed as a Rotring one because Rotring no longer makes them. The only thing remotely Rotringesque about it is the red rubber ring on the plunger.
Question:	What is the difference between this junior set and the college set other than the additional pen in the college set
Answer:	If I understand correctly, this shouldn't be a problem. It would require wiping the excess ink off the outside surface of the converter as well (probably) the pain. The problem would be if the converter were larger than the ink bottle. Personally I really like fountain pens so I'm willing to put up w a bit of mess doing this- I fill the converter/ pen over the sink. I think if the converter were larger than the bottle you'd have to transfer the ink to another bottle with an eye dropper or use a small funnel for that. I like this pen a lot; good for writing and drawing. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Yes it does.
Question:	Is the ink archival
Answer:	Yes, it does, though you won't think so at first. As Lynn S. mentioned, you have to push rather harder than you would think. And the length does fit inside the barrel of the pen. So happily you can use whatever ink you like. The cartridges all offer water-soluble ink, and I wanted waterproof ink. So this cartridge allows me to use the excellent Noodler's Waterproof Ink.
