Answer:	My experience has been that different fountain pens use different size cartridges. With that being said, I only own one cross fountain pen so I don't know if others require different sized cartridges.

Answer:	Nib size does not matter when selecting a Cross ink refill, so, yes, these will fit a pen with a medium nib ... or with a broad or extra broad or fine nib.

Question:	Is it dark or light blue? The cartridges that I got are almost black and you really have to focus to tell the difference. Thank you
Answer:	If it is like the earlier 40sl, the battery is plugged in. Removing a bunch of little screws and unscrewing the tail cap gets you inside. If AP sells a replacement it is a snap. Otherwise you would have to source an unptotected 18650 and salvage the plug off the old one. I suspect there is no internal parts support. It is better than the clones with soldered on batteries and protection in the battery ir maybe on the circuit board.

Answer:	Yes, it has not one but two magnets. One is on the bottom and the bottom of the unit can articulate and the second is on the back about center height. The magnets are extremely powerful and can easily hold the lamp in place.

Answer:	I can tell you it is different from the others. The standard cartridge does not fit in the slim fountain pen. This cartridge has the same diameter of the standards cartridges only in the end that comes out the ink, but is thinner in the "body".

Answer:	I had to order special "slim" Cross cartridges, which works great. I am not aware if there is a smaller converter that fits this pen. A standard Cross cartridge or converter is too wide. FYI -- I love this pen; like writing with a feather. The cap screws on over nib, and also on the top while writing. It has never leaked during air travel.
Question:	Does this fit the classic century cross fountain pen
Answer:	Yes. They have two sizes. Their normal and the slim. This is for all their slim bodied pens. They don't make a refillable adapter for the slim pens. I use a syringe to refill these several times until they start leaking them start a new one. Their blue black is too blue for my taste.

Answer:	This may not fit a 1987 model, sorry. Not sure if this helps - I own a Colibri Equinox, the latest version though. And for recent versions Colibri says, the right ink cartridges are "standard international" size (38.0 mm x 7.1 mm).
