Answer:	Depends on the finish of the paper.. if slick, glossy- then yes, you need to blot; if absorbent paper.. then, no.

Answer:	The pen came in a case. I purchased the per and refills together. I have purchased other fountain pens, all came in a case.

Answer:	I have 3 of these and I am left Handed. Any fountain pen will smear for left or right handed people, in fact so will pencil if you are not careful. For that matter so well some ballpoint pens. Most left handed people, myself included, have figured out how to write without smearing whatever they are writing with. Having said that there are some inks that dry faster than others. If you have a problem with smearing because you are dragging your hand over the ink then I would suggest you check out some of the inks that are faster drying. With respect to the pens I find them to be very good pens to write with and even more so because of the low price. If you are just getting into fountain pens these are a good pens to start with to see if you like fountain pens. I have a fair number of fountain pens and I actually still carry one of these for my everyday use. Hope this helps!
Question:	Is anyone else experiecing issues with the flow of the ink. I continue to experience inconsistent streaking. Am I doing something incorrectly
Answer:	Now don't take offense at this but be sure you're holding the pen correctly. The small sliver in the tip where ink flows is what should always be touching the paper. Also I've found that the ink can dry pretty quickly with the cap off so put it on even if you're just stopping to think for a moment. I hope my answer has been helpful!

Answer:	I would recommend you give these a shot, just so you get the hang of using fountain pens again. When I first started to use FPs, I used a very heavy hand-a habit from the ballpoint and rollerball days. Thankfully, I was only using disposable pens so I didn't end up ruining the nibs.Although I've moved on to more expensive pens, I still keep these around. They're good value for money and are good writers as well.

Answer:	no, they will not. I took them on a plane and they stated leaking ink, even with the caps on sealed in my carry-on.

Answer:	No, the pen is made of solid metal and the cap securely screws on and off. Overall, I am pleased with this pen. I wish it came with a medium nib instead of a fine nib.

If ink does not flow properly, you can follow the instruction below to solve it: 1) Soak the nib part in warm water for five minutes ,Reassemble the pen after cleaning, and test ink flow. If this doesn't help, try the next step. 2) Insert a razor blade slowly and carefully through the tip of the pen into the small gap between the two tines of the nib. Withdraw it slowly and carefully.Report this for a few times. This should clean that area. Test the pen once again for ink flow. Please send us message if have any further question.

Question:	What is the pen's metal casing like, is it durable
Answer:	I have a black color pen and use it daily. Over time, the color coating will wear off (in small batches and especially around the area where the cap closes at the body), and reveals a bronze-like color beneath. At other scratched areas at the top of the cap, the underlying color is a metallic gray. But it still looks nice and I continue to use as one of my many daily carries.
Question:	Can you use standard international repalcement ink cartridges? I cannot find a listing for 3.4mm ink cartridges

Question:	What ink bootle do we use for this pen? the waterman 50ml ink bottle was recommend for this so is it the right one
Answer:	The question is imprecise. Any fountain pen ink is suitable for use in this pen. Waterman, Diamine, J. Herbin, Robert Oster, etc., etc. Any bottle that says Fountain Pen Ink will do.
Question:	Is this pen smooth when writing
Answer:	I am amazed at how easy it is to write or draw with this pen. It's a great purchase and so affordable. I highly recommend these and have purchased another to use with a different color ink.

Question:	is the nib fine or medium
Answer:	I think nib is medium.
Question:	Does it work
Answer:	Yes they work. It is a 6 pack of pens. Sometimes you will get a bag that had a defective pen but that is extremely rare. These pens are very good
Question:	Once dry is the ink waterproof or will the lines run
Answer:	Ink seems to hold up well. I have not experienced any runny lines.
Question:	I write a lot. I used another brand of disposable fountain pen and went through it in a week. How much writing will these do
Answer:	I can't say; that's a hard thing to quantify. But I love the way they write and whatever their "life" is, I'm a convert to these over ball point pens, where you have to keep your fingers crossed and then sometimes go through 4 or 5 before you find one that's smooth and actually works. These fountain pens are a good value, and I will always have some on hand for any kind of writing.

Answer:	Unfortunately, we do not stock this color of Lamy Safari with an Extra-Fine nib.
Question:	what is the body material
Answer:	Normally Lamy pens do NOT come with the proprietary converter. You have to purchase that separately. However, once you have 2 or 3, you can use them interchangeably.
Question:	can it be converted to an eyedropper
Answer:	I use the M16 refill which is a medium point. Don't know the writing tip mm.
