| Answer: | The ink flow is excellent with the fine nib; I've experienced no skips on any strokes and no hard starts. In fact, it's quite wet for a fine nib. It's certainly not buttery smooth, but you have me in a quandary with your question about a recommendation. Surely that depends on what kind of line you prefer. I've never used an M200 medium nib, so I don't know if it's buttery smooth. On the other hand, though the fine nib on my M200 is not buttery smooth, it's not at all scratchy, and I like the slight touch of feedback it gives. I should add that I'm not really fan of buttery smoothness anyway and wouldn't want my pen other than it is. |
