That is 23 1/2 inches, however where the armrests attach on the front end to the seat, they are bolted in and that protrudes slightly wider than that. The height from the floor to the tallest part of the armrests is variable depending on how high you move the seat up or down. The range is 30 3/8 inches when the seat is in the highest position, to 26 7/8 inches when the seat is in the lowest position. Additionally, as the armrests curve down in the front, (28 1/2 inches tallest to 25 inches shortest), the armrest can clear your tabletop at the very front end. I hope this helps you. There are a few sellers on Amazon who sell these refills, but when I clicked on the link to the product in YOUR emailed question, this is what I saw for the seller, "Ships from and sold by Amazon.com." So, yeah, my best guess, probably Amazon is selling genuine 'direct from Fisher' products. You will have to ask Amazon and see what they say. But I see your point, yes, on the Fisher website, the refills do look more 'gold' color. When I bought mine on Amazon, it was from a different seller and "fulfilled' by Amazon. In a good light, mine look a 'little' more 'gold' but in a different light, a 'little' more silver. So, you would have to ask Fisher Spacepen Company (from their website) to be sure. They answer the phones and have a good customer service department, give them a try. The packaging is the same and for me, it is the same. Good luck. |
