Answer:	I use them in high rise construction. Scribe an x, hit the x with the red pencil and clear spray paint to seal it. Never a question from framers or iron workers about where my mark is.

Answer:	They measure 4.2-4.3mm in diameter a 4.7 eraser is any standard eraser like the ones that come on the battery operated eraser. They can be had much cheaper than these pentel. These do work great on the graphgear 1000 series pencils though.

I am not an expert, but since our pen sets are both vintage, if I were you I would try these. If they don't work you can send them back and have a much better idea of the size you will actually need.

Answer:	I just called Cross (1/26/2017) to inquire the same thing. My mechanical 10kt gold-filled Cross pencil dates from 1974, and the top of the barrel also reads "Use 2 3/4" thin lead". The phone rep told me to check the color of the eraser, which I did. It has the pink eraser. She said this indicates that it takes the 0.9 mm lead.

Question:	Do people find that the top stays on ok or not? That's the top that fits over the barrel
Answer:	I have had a problem with the top staying on if I am quickly stashing the pencil in an organizer or briefcase slot. The best technological fix is to separate the top from the bottom and rub the white center stem of the bottom part of the pen with BEESWAX! I do this when I buy the pens and every couple of years and never have a problem after that. My daughter (student) and I (professional) both love these pencils.
Question:	The headline says these are the Twist Erase III, but the photo shows the plain Twist Erase. Which is correct
Answer:	It is the Twist Erase III (and not regular Twist Erase). The box and pencils themselves don't show "III" on them, but they are the Twist Erase III with the more sturdy construction than the regular Twist Erase pencils. If you go to the Pentel website, you'll see these same looking pencils for Twist Erase III.

Answer:	Those are the thicknesses of the lead in the pencil: fine, medium, large

Answer:	Good question. I use these pencils almost every day for the last 10+ years. I don't think I've purchased more than 3 or 4 of them due to their durability. I've never noticed the word "automatic" in the title until you asked this question. I suppose, in Clintonian terms, it depends on the definition of "automatic". I suspect it refers to the process of the lead "automatically" loading into the pencil barrel when you push on the top of the pencil to load a new piece of lead. Short of contacting Pentel, I wish you good luck on finding the answer.

Question:	How to put the pencil back together if the backend is pulled off and the spring is out
Answer:	Take the metal ring and slide it all the way onto the small white part that grips the lead. Put this into the wider end of the other small white piece. Put the spring in the other side of this piece around the end of the smaller piece. Take the colored part off of the clear tube and put the tube in behind the spring. It needs to clip over the smaller white piece firm enough to hold it in place. Put the entire assembly in the thinner end of the pencil body and screw the end back on. Then connect the small colored end that holds the eraser on the end and replace the eraser.
Question:	Are there 5 or 8? The title says 8 but the picture says 5. So which is it
Answer:	The featured PaperMate Handwriting Triangular Mechanical Pencil Set, item #2017483, includes (5) pencils (2) replacement erasers and (1) 12 pack of replacement lead.

Question:	Is The Lead Magnetic
Answer:	The graphite lead in these pencils are made from carbon (graphite) and clay. Neither will produce any real amount of magnetism.
Question:	Where are the jun gold products made
Answer:	This product is made in China.
Question:	I have the 2mm pencil How do you change the lead
Answer:	To refill the 2.0 mm lead refills you can either click the pencil and push the lead through the front of the pencil or you can remove the rear of the pencil and slide the refill in the back. With the second option you will need to shake the pencil while repeatedly clicking the pencil until it catches and advances the lead.
Question:	How does the built in sharpener work
Answer:	The built in sharpener is only for the 2.0 mm pencils. The 0.7 mm pencils do not have a built in sharpener. The back of the 2.0 mm pencils, where the eraser normally is, has a small hole where you can twist the lead to sharpen it.
