| Answer: | Since chalk paint is porous it should be sealed. It dries to a dull, chalky finish--hence the name! I sealed mine with a clear soft wax [applied with a wax brush, allowed to dry, then buffed with a soft cloth). The results are a smooth finish that is not shiny. If you want an "antiqued" or shabby-chic look, you can also apply (sparingly) a dark wax over the clear wax. You can easily Google or Youtube how to execute this technique. I've used chalk paint on projects with and without the dark wax, and I've not been disappointed. |

| Answer: | Hello and thanks for your question. We haven't personally used it on leather, but others have. You typically need to thin the paint with water when painting fabrics and the water to paint ratio is different with each fabric type. I would recommend keeping a spray bottle with you while you work and also keep your brush super wet. I like to dip my brush into a bowl of water and then straight into the paint and work the paint into the fabric. I would also recommend doing a light sanding in between coats.
