Answer:	If you use approximately a 2" x 2" piece. Or attempt to cover the bottom of the suction cup as much as possible, that should work OK as long as your phone and holder wheigh less than a pound. What they failed to tell you in the description is that this requires a 1 inch piece of tape for every quarter pound. So you would need 4 inches of tape for 1 pound. You can't fit 4 inches of tape in the area you were trying to adhere, it's not going to work.

Answer:	I use this tape all the time. Only the first 6 inches or so have a protective film. Once you remove it, it’s just the double side tape. It’s a little tricky to remove the protective film but it gets easier w practice.

Answer:	Oh it will stick to the paper mural and most likely tear and ruin it. Last night I stuck a 2” long piece to my bathroom wall(painted wall not tile)and put a full tube of toothpaste to it to test it out. I just tried to take the toothpaste down to brush my teeth and it pulled the tape off the wall. It came off all balled up stuck to itself and NOT reusable. If you value that mural at all, do NOT use this tape with it!

Answer:	I think this tape is super strong. I can't say how much weight an inch will hold, but 2.30 lbs isn't a lot. I used it to hold a power strip on the wall maybe six weeks ago. Since then I've unplugged some cords and plugged in others. The power strip is holding firmly to the wall. I think it might be more difficult to remove it. I guested-i-mated two 2.5 to 3" strips of tape to attack it to the wall. Seems to have been a good guess. I'm a trial & error kind of person. I don't know what you're hanging, I would try two 1.5 to 2" strips forming an "L" shape on each corner of the item and see what happens. Be very careful not to touch it any more than necessary; touching lessens the tackiness. and use as much pressure as is comfortably possible when you put it up. This tape hasn't failed to do anything I've used it for so far and I still have most of the roll left. Good luck

I think if the cover is a rug like material it may not work so well check out minute 13:15 on the video. it's pretty long so I would put it on 2X speed when watching it. I hope it helps.

Answer:	It all depends on the type of paint and how well the paint is adhering to whatever is beneath it. Semi-gloss or gloss paint will release the tape more easily than flat. If you remove tape from the wall, do it slowly rather than ripping it away.
Question:	Can i put this on 10k gold ring and put gemstones on it to see how it would look
Answer:	I don't think so. It's not meant for heavy items (at least I don't think it is) If you are only taking a quick look and then removing the stones, it might work but I use it for paper items. You should probably ask the manufacturer. Sorry, not much help :0)
Question:	Removable film or not? I tried for over 1/2 hour to remove this film, to no avail
Answer:	To initially start the roll of our Scotch® Double Sided Tape, there is a protective wrap that is about 8 inches long. Just pull the tape out about 8 inches and use the cut blade on the dispenser to cut the tape. Throw that 8 inches of tape in the garbage. Now you can begin using the double sided tape. As the protective wrap is clear, you will probably not be able to see where the double sided tape begins and where the wrap ends, so you will just have to touch the top of the tape to make sure you have both sides of the adhesive exposed. Answer:	It should do the job. This tape is supposed to be free of any of the substances that could damage the pictures or turn the paper brown. I have used this product for putting together a collage of things together in a large picture frame, I covered the backing board of the frame with black material, stuck the items to this material, and then put it into the frame. It looks good and has held up well. So far, no discoloration.

Question:	What weight will this hold? Im wanting to stick wood planks onto my dining room wall and be able to hang pictures on the "wood plank wall
Answer:	I would be leery about your project. The tape could possibly keep the wood planks in place for a while but I believe that putting the pictures on the planks would be too much weight. Also, when you apply ANY kind of tape to a wooden surface, the wood will actually draw out the glue on the tape and eventually, you will have no adhesion and your project will fail. On a positive note, this particular tape is TERRIFIC. It has strong bonding and holding properties. But once again, the wood - tape glue thing would apply here. It may take longer but eventually, the glue would lose adhesion to the wood planks.

How to cut the carpet tape?

Be sure to use a knife to cut the tape from the paper side which faces up. Suggest cutting with a knife rather than scissors.

It takes about 3 or 4 good sized pieces on each end or side of the rug,you just have to apply it right! Rug will stop moving.

How to install the carpet tape?

1. Unroll your carpet tape and tape the sticky side to the floor surface on which your carpet or tile will be laid. Leave the paper side face up.

2. Peel off the paper side from each piece of tape after all the required tape pieces are in place.

3. Lay down your desired carpet, rug or tile on top of the exposed adhesive tape and press them firmly.

How to remove the carpet tape?

You can remove the carpet tape directly by hand. When removing this or any tape, you have to roll it like it's Elmer's glue on your hands. Pls don't pull it from corner or edge with too much force or tension, the wrong operation can easily damage the floor finish. Remember, gently roll from one end to another starting with a corner, or you can use a hair dryer to heat the carpet tape to soften it,and then you can remove the tape more easily and safely by hand.

Answer:	I have not done so, but if the fabric is not thick I believe it would work. I love this glue and have not had an issue with my crafting products.

Answer:	I had put probally 50 to 60 photos in scrapbooks. Never had a problem with the tape. The tape does run out quick so get double what you think. I also use this tape to do homemade cards and use an extensive amount of it a year and it's always worked for me.

Answer:	Upon application, this adhesive appears to be clear, but I use it on white disc media envelopes, so I can't see how transparent it actually is. From my experience, this and the Scotch brand are at the very least translucent, if not nominally transparent, as well as almost identical in application and performance. If you are adhering transparent overlays, this may be slightly visible, but nothing like opaque white adhesive. White adhesive, such as Elmer's Glue will turn nearly transparent after drying, but that's not nearly the same type adhesive as this. This is called permanent, but I can fairly easily open my envelopes and change the contents, without difficulty. It does hold more strongly than the "temporary" labeled products, but it can be removed from and reattached to paper, if the need arises. In my opinion, that's a benefit, but if a truly secure closure is needed, this is not your adhesive. By secure, I mean the closure requires cutting or tearing of the attached materials, and the adhesive won't re-adhere at all. For my purposes, this is good stuff.

Answer:	I don't know. I would think if your paint is new it shouldn't come off. I use the tape to gift wrap packages so the tape won't show. It looks nicer when you don't see the tape.

Answer:	To initially start the roll of our Scotch® Double Sided Tape, there is a protective wrap that is about 8 inches long. Just pull the tape out about 8 inches and use the cut blade on the dispenser to cut the tape. Throw that 8 inches of tape in the garbage. Now you can begin using the double sided tape. As the protective wrap is clear, you will probably not be able to see where the double sided tape begins and where the wrap ends, so you will just have to touch the top of the tape to make sure you have both sides of the adhesive exposed.
