Question:	I have heard that a second hole is a good idea, allowing blue birds to be able to escape if threatened by sparrows, etc.Has anyone tried to add a hole
Answer:	European house sparrows are a danger to many domestic birds and especially bluebirds. Experts encourage their eradication. Domestic sparrows (russet, song, white throated, etc.) are not a problem. The two-entry nesting boxes use a special design that allows the bluebird to escape via the second doorway to take the fight outside, where they are competitive with the house sparrow in a battle. Otherwise the house sparrow will destroy the eggs and/or kill the parents in the enclosed area. House sparrows are the scourge of the "bird community." I wouldn't try to adapt an one-entry box into a two-entry box. You can do an online search for "2-hole mansion" for plans. Nesting boxes are pretty easy and inexpensive to build, often from a single board, cedar or pine, and it's a fun project.
Question:	Is this birdhouse already put together
Answer:	Yes, this nice sturdy birdhouse is ready to hang. I have mine on a tree, but it is intended to put on a post. Very solid, good quality.
Question:	Can you put this on a pergola post? or is that a bad idea
Answer:	It would definitely be a bad idea. If you want to attract bluebirds then the house should not be attached to a tree or anything else that a raccoon can climb. We have ours attached to t-posts or 3/4" conduit. The instructions for the bluebird houses recommend them being placed in the open and about 50 feet from the nearest perch.
Question:	Do you supply houses for Western bluebirds? Think their holes are a little bigger
Answer:	This box and many others that you will see with a 1 1/2" entrance will work fine for western bluebirds. Some suppliers label some boxes as "western" with a 1 9/16" hole and "eastern" with a 1 1/2" hole, but the larger size is actually intended to accommodate mountain bluebirds, which are present in some parts of the west. So, in short, 1 9/16" is sold as the safe size to attract any bluebird in western north America, while 1 1/2" is a fine size for the specific species "western bluebird."

Answer:	They are raw wood. Painting would certainly lengthen the lifetime of the product.

Answer:	If the breeze is strong enough, I’m sure it will swing. However, birds build nests in trees and the limbs shake and sway. We haven’t had any bird nesting yet, but should be soon.

Answer:	The house is slightly shorter than 12'' more like 11 1/2 inches. There is an attached ring that it about an inch. No chain came with it. The house is right at 6'' side to side and 5'' front to back. Measuring the width at the roof eves it is right at 8'' wide. Hope that helps.

Answer:	It isn't really made for mounting on a pole but if you're handy you can probably figure out a way to screw it onto a pole. I've had mine for a number of years now and it has held up. I've enjoyed it - we hang it from a shepherd's hook in our garden.

Answer:	It has a screw hole on each end which I used to mount it in an equipment rack. Both front and back must be accessible when it is mounted.

Answer:	My cable is 5 feet and 2 to 3 inches long. But I don't know what a power conditioner is. Sorry. I love the unit and have bought several over the years, they have all worked extremely well.
Question:	Will this be okay for mini binders like avery 5.5x8.5 1 inch ring size. I would like to prevent the binders from opening up
Answer:	It depends on the specific model of your LG phone. It’s not just the outside dimensions, but also the overall shape, where there are holes cut in the case for the buttons and camera, etc. If it says it is compatible with your particular model of LG, then it should fit, but you can’t judge just by the length and width.

Question:	Will this thing rust when exposed to the elements
Answer:	I don’t think so. You need to download software to run it from your computer and I think the software is only for Mac/Windows.

Answer:	Yes as long as you have a DMX connection which overrides the dio switch feature. You also need to know the channels the light has which should have been listed on the manual. No there should be a brand regardless and you can search for it on the Mydmx software and download the functionality and place it on your list of lights. This will allow you to place the light in the desired channel and use the intended functions of the light.
Question:	What is the diameter of the entrance hole
Answer:	No it doesn’t. Just on off switches.
