Question:	how do you load staples in B8E electric stapler
Answer:	NOTE: I was puzzled by this same question, trying to use this B8E electric stapler at my school. The stapler was jammed with STANDARD staples so that when the big top button was pushed, nothing moved. Had to unscrew and remove the overall cover to see what was happening, pull the slide out and remove the staples. Standard staples are too wide, but close enough that someone unfamiliar may not notice. Stuck a big note on the stapler to tell others "USE ONLY B8 STAPLES." This problem may mystify those who do not have jammed staplers, since the staple magazine pops out when the button is pushed - unless jammed with Standard staples.

Answer:	It is loud, but not overly so for the amount of papers that it is stapling. The work environment I am in is not quiet either though.

It staples neat and clean on 1 page or 40.I only used the Bostitch premium crown staples and never had any problem.After about 8 years of use the stapler started shooting out a staple every couple of hours so I don't use it anymore. Question:	I have limited use of my hands and a regular stapler is painful for me to use, is this stapler easy to use without having to exert a lot of pressure
Answer:	I have carpal tunnel and that is the reason I purchased it. it doesn't cause me pain to use it you just need to give the paper a little extra push to get it to work sometimes. Not sure how many pages you do at a time but I do need to push harder if I am doing more than 15 pages. I would recommend the next one up that does 45 pages and I bet the opening being bigger would make the difference in the pushing.

Question:	Can this stapler handle 30 pages of standard weight paper without jamming
Answer:	NO it will not, It says it will, but I just bought it. My documents are normally between 15 and 22 pages, so I thought this would be great. If its a 17 or more page doc I have to staple it front and back.

Question:	How many inches deep, does it go into paper? Would it work on cardboard, like cereal box material? How thick is the bottom part
Answer:	Hi Betty,The opening of the stapler is about one quarter inch. I put together 27 sheets of 20 bond paper and the staple went through all of them at once. I tried 12 sheets of 3 X 5 cards and the staple went through that easily. I have my margin set for one eighth inch. But the margin can be larger if a person wanted it to be. I use regular staples. I did not try to use breakfast food carton cardboard, but I see no reason why that would not work as long as it would be under one eighth inches in thickness.Don
Question:	refill tray does not come out all way
Answer:	We recommend using your hands to pull the staple tray all the way out (Don’t be afraid to use a little extra force while pulling). The staple tray does not pop all the way out on its own, but pops out just enough so you can grab it and pull it out by hand. This is normal and nothing to worry about. Sometimes the staple tray is a bit stiff at first, but the more it's opened fully, the easier the tray will slide back and forth over time.

This Swingline is probably one of the last best things imported to America from China. At least Acco Brands is still located in Illinois a heartland of America. Americans has an affinity for products such as this that remind them, or take them back to their youth, better days, better times, when we were learning about school implements which then grew up, as we did, into office instruments and implements. No one likes the crap that we are now working with in America, which is cheaply made overseas and expensive to buy here in Country.
