Answer:	Is your magenta low?.....if so yes replace it and follow the installation instructions. If not, take the cartridge out, leaving it in the cartridge holder clean the corona wire by sliding the green tab back and forth several times. IMPORTANT return the green tab to the home position, which will be to the very left, or maybe right side.......can't remember which side, but all the other colors will be the same. If you did not return it back to the starting point or home position when you installed it that might have caused your problem.

Answer:	The ink cartridges have been damaging the printers that use 902. If you buy online buyer beware. I bought supposedly the combo pack with all the colors and when it came to cyan, the printer said it wasn’t hp ink and would not allow me to print at that point. I had to put my used cartridge back into the printer. Hoping HP fixes it soon. I called HP they do not know when the issue will be fixed. I am just using a grey scale now only black until this issue is fixed and blotting the cyan cartridge once in a while to keep it from drying out.
