Question:	Are the sheets perforated
Answer:	No the sheets are not perforated. They are numbered from 1 to 156 in the top left corner of each page and are intended to be an official engineering record book. I utilize them as a global sales executive to track all my business & personal notes, so typically if I need a copy of the contents on a specific page I place it on the multifunction printer and make a copy.
Question:	What does "brown" mean? Does it have brown paper inside
Answer:	It has brown covers but light yellow pages. The pages are lined (similar to engineering paper).
Question:	Is this notebook 3-hole punched
Answer:	No, the notebook is hard bound. It is not 3-hole punched and the pages do not have perforated edges
Question:	Will the ink bleed if I use a fountain pen
Answer:	I haven't tried a fountain pen in one of these notebooks, but I think they would work well. I use Pilot V5 and V7 pens because they tend to write stronger, darker lines with more ink; thumbing through the notebook I did not see anyplace where the lines were visible through the page.

Answer:	It meets the legal requirements for a lab notebook, or they couldn't call it a lab notebook without being actionable.

Answer:	The grid lines are turquoise on light green paper.
Question:	The muddied description claims each book has 96 pages but I hope, at this price, they mean 96 sheets
Answer:	Standary stationary practice is 2 pages = 1 sheet. Bear in mind this is an (albeit simple) laboratory notebook. It has special paper and a sewn binding to meet legal standards for patent provenance. It is also quite reasonable in price. I bought my first in 1967 for a chemistry lab course and paid $4.97 for it. I buy them still but as project notebooks.
Question:	The description says quad rule and that it's a 5x5 grid, but the picture showing the inside pages show normal college rule lines, which is right
Answer:	I buy these all the time for my research lab and have my students in the teaching lab use them as well. The notebooks are quad ruled.

Answer:	Hello, thank you for contacting us. This is narrow rule, not college rule. Narrow rule has a 1⁄4 inch spacing in between lines. College Rule has a 9⁄32 inch spacing in between lines.

Answer:	Mine has numbers in the top right corner. The official images on the Amazon page also clearly display numbers in the top right corner. My notebook is the 43-649, same as displayed on this page. I am confused as to why every answer claims the pages aren’t numbered. I presume they have all received different notebooks, and their answers are, for some reason, on this page. Perhaps they changed the product yet left it under the same page?

Answer:	There are 10 squares per inch, with a slightly stronger line ever 5 small squares (or every half inch). This makes the small squares 1/10th of an inch. I would have preferred metric if they want to divide it by 10.
Question:	What weight is the paper? Standard notebook paper or thicker like sketchpad paper
Answer:	It’s thicker than standard notebook paper, but held to the light you can see the lines on the other side of the paper. So it’s not opaque. The paper even feels thicker. Hope this helps
