Answer:	When I received mine, there were 4. Usually the only ones that come in 6 packs are the small boxes (2.75"H x 11"W x 6.625D). These clip boxes in all their sizes are my favorite storage bins.

Answer:	No it does not. It sits on top and you could potentially use it to block the water but easily knocked off. You have to remove the strainer for the stopper to fit in and do the correct job! But I really love this set!!
