CIS

Contact Image Sensor (CIS) is a bill recognition technology. The CIS technology makes the bill counter much more accurate regarding recognition of bills and denominations, and is preferable to units only equipped with magnetic & infrared sensor recognition.

UV

UV detection is a critical part of verifying the authenticity of a bill. UV scanners are commonly used to detect counterfeit banknotes. While it is visible with a back light, this stripe becomes illuminated when it passes over a UV light.

MAG

MAG, or magnetic counterfeit bill detection, involves the use of specialized magnetic inks. The magnetic properties embedded in the bills can be read by money counters like ours with magnetic detection capabilities, to weed out phony bills from genuine ones.

IR

Answer:	Thank you for your question. Just to press BATCH mode set the batch quantity to 50, and the machine can be fed continuously.

Answer:	Th UV and AUTO buttons will light up automatically. Push "ADD" so that it lights up to add the bills. This counter does NOT count the value of mixed denominations of bills. Then push "VALUE". Choose the value of the bills you want to add. The 1, 5, 10, 20, 100 represent $1, $5, $10, $20, $100. Push start before you put bills in the counter. I found at with a large stack of bills of one denomination, it is best to put in smaller stacks of that denomination piecemeal. The counter will continue to add the value of the total you put in and give you the total value. You then can "start" again with another denomination. I was disappointed that the counter does not count the value of mixed denominations of money, but that kind of counter is far more expensive, so this works for our small business. I use an excel spreadsheet to add the value of the different denominations for a total. Calculator would work too.

Slip in a fifty in a pile of twenties and the machine will add $20 for the fifty. Actually, the machine counts pieces of paper whether it is a US bill or a piece of paper. Personal checks have the same dimensions as US currency. Slip a check in a pile of twenties and the machine will add $20 for the check.There are 4 typical ways to use the machine. 1) Count the number of bills are in a stack, or pieces of paper in a stack for that manner. 2) Count how many dollars worth are in a stack, presuming the correct denomination has been selected. For example, 4 fives totals $20. 3) Keep a running total of several stacks, presuming the correct denomination has been selected for each stack. 4) Separate a stack into bundles, say for example a stack of ones into bundles of 25 each.Toggle on the add feature.
