Answer: | This calculator can print the date or time when entered manually. To print the date, say for example, October 25, 2019, you would enter 10.25.2019 followed by the diamond/number key. To print the time, say for example, 9:46 a.m., you would enter 9.46 followed by the diamond/number key. If you need to print the date repeatedly, I recommend saving it to the memory using the M+ key. Each time you need to print the date, press the M diamond key followed by the diamond/number key. At the end of the day, press the M* key followed by the CA key. User questions & answers
Question: | does the display tilt |
Answer: | While the display does not have folding and retracting "feet" to open up on the bottom of the calculator to tilt the display, the "fixed" display does tilt upward approximately 1" from the keypad. It is very easy to see, just wish it were backlit. It has been very dependable. The auto-off function is nice to save power if one just happens to forget to turn it off. I particularly like the programmable sales tax multiplier so that you can instantly see just what a purchase will really cost you at the store or online. Hope this all helps. I would say it's a good purchase and I recommend it very highly. |
Question: | how does the percent button work for calculating normal percent mark ups and not tax? example 20+20%=24 but this calculator says |
Answer: | It is confusing but their instructions clarify it. For your example, to add 20% to 20 you would enter 20x20%+ and the result will be 25. When you enter 20+20%, the calculator is treating the 20 as 80% of a larger number--which is 25. Hence the strange math in your example. |
Question: | In which the m + key and mrc stands |
Answer: | M+ adds whatever value is in the display to the memory total. Press MRC once to show the value in the memory. Press MRC again and it clears the memory. MRC stands for memory recall and clear |
Question: | What are the actual dimensions/measurement of the calculator? 10"x7" doesn't seem right |
Answer: | Vendor Dimensions are (H x W x D): 1.39 x 5.33 x 7.36 inches (35,4 x 135,5 x 187 mm) |

User questions & answers
Question: | Does this machine have the option to run on batteries as well as a plug in |
Answer: | Unfortunately, it only runs via power outlet and not on batteries, but it is a wonderful machine. Hope this information helps. |
Question: | How can I void a sale in progress after pressing subtotal? (I am aware there is a refund fuction; this is not what I'm asking for |
Answer: | You cannot void a sale after hitting subtotal :/ Or at least I have not figured out how. You can void the last rang in item before hitting subtotal, but as soon as you hit subtotal, you need to tender it to close it out to start over. If you ring in 2 items, and realize the 1st item you rang in was wrong, you can only void the 2nd item, and then have to do a refund of the 1st item. I think that feature is the biggest downfall. |
Question: | Hi, does this machine print a merchant copy of the receipt |
Answer: | Yes |
Question: | Can you use with a bar code scanner |
Answer: | It doesnt have the capability to use a bar scanner |
