Answer:	You can weigh anything or anybody as long as they (it) does not exceed 225 lbs

Who weighs anything larger than maybe a couple month old infant in LB & Oz?I can get decimals when I put it in KG mode, but then I'm left converting back to LBs, which is inefficient for my mobile vet practice.

Answer:	The scale measures around 16 in. by 27 in. For the money, it has been a good scale for us. If you are needing something for a shelter with high volume, you might want a better one. But for the price, I have no complaints
Question:	How good is this for cats
Answer:	I purchased this scale for cats, mainly one that is on a weight loss regimen. There are pros and cons to this scale in my opinion. The big flat surface provides enough room if the animal wants to lie down and it is low enough to slip under a coffee table or couch for storage. The weight is minimal, maybe 10-12 pounds so it's easy to move around. My problem is whatever is being weighed has to be off of the scale in order for the scale to power up. After that, whatever you are weighing needs to be very still after you push the hold button in order to get a good reading. Since my cat moves around a lot I weigh him 3 or 4 times and take an average and that requires him having to be taken off the scale each time and starting over. It's somewhat easier with my smaller cats but they tend to move around also so I take more than one reading on them too.
