Answer:	This weighs in as little as tenths of an ounce. On a few occasions mail I brought to the Post Office was off be an ounce, but mostly it is quite accurate.

If it is still too large, you can use something on the scale first, like a smaller cardboard box, zero the scale out with that extra box on there, then place your package on the extra box hopefully allowing you to view the scale readout. I often just use a plastic mixing bowl from the kitchen, zero it out, and then balance my large package on the bowl.

Answer:	7.1oz is equivalent to .44 of a lb. 16 ounces in a pound. so 7/1oz is 0.44. I haven't checked mine but I see on mine an "oz" on the top right - next to where you might find your "44" ... which signifies you are weighing at ounces vs grams, not necessarily that you have 44oz. Look more closely because you may actually have an accurate scale. Hope this helps and not too late of an answer.

Answer:	I still have the box -- There's a warranty card inside, that should've come with your scale. According to mine, it says that it's a 10 year warranty, and it covers scales that they determine to be defective in material or workmanship. The phone number is 1-888-919-6888. You need to call that for them to give you an "RMA number", before you return it. As a heads up, the gist of the warranty card's fine print is: The customer is responsible for shipping the scale to Accuteck (and the recommended insurance) but they will pay for the shipping on the replacement. Says you will need to pack the scale to avoid further damage in shipping... if you no longer have the cardboard foam inserts that were underneath the platform when you opened it, I advise you to make something suitable to put under there, before packing it. You don't want the scale platform jiggling around during shipment and then appearing to be user error when they get it on the other side. After they give you the RMA number and you pack the scale, you'll need to include a copy of your Amazon receipt and a note with your RMA number (Accutek doesn't mention this but I think it's a good idea to do, anyway)... plus your name, address and phone number, along with a quick note about what the problem you're having is.

Answer:	If the box were to big as far as how big? I have weighed boxes that are 24 in long with no problem and some that are 35 in wide. If it were to big and it was sagging on the floor, then I could see an issue.

Answer:	I tested the scale with 1 sheet of 8.5x11 of paper. It did not show any measurement. With two sheets it read .006kg and .2oz, with three sheets .0010kg and .3 oz, hope that helps. The scale will calibrate and zero itself every time you turn it on. I'm happy with my purchase. I measure letters and packages on it.
Question:	Someone reported that this scale will read 7.6 oz but it won't read 10.6 it will only show as 10. Could anyone confirm this ? Thank you
Answer:	Yes. That is correct. I tested it tonight at your request. I placed three objects on the scale that all together weigh 10.00 oz. Then I added an object that weighs .6 oz. The display read 10 oz. Never did it read 10.6 oz. The same result whether the additional weight was .5, .4, .3, .2, or .8 oz. When I added a full ounce, then the display changed to 11 oz. I hope that answers your question.

Question:	When i place a package on the scale the display shows 0.0. when i remove the package the display shows a weight. is this correct operation
Answer:	It sounds like you might be using it backwards. If you press 0.0 button with box on the scale, it will perform in the manner you indicate though weight will be displayed as negative number once the box is removed. However, this is not they way a scale like that is normally used.When you power on the scale, it should auto zero after a few seconds. If it's slightly off 0.0, you can press it's 0.0 button to tell it to zero. Once it is at 0.0, place your package on it and it should display the weight of the package.Another way of using the scale is to put an empty box or tray on it then press its 0.0 button to zero the scale. After that you can add items to the box or tray determine the weight of those items without including the weight of the tray or box.
Question:	The coiled data cable is a real pain. Do you offer a straight cable or is a straight cable available elsewhere
Answer:	In addition to what I said earlier, there are a couple cables on Amazon which might work with it. Try search for "4p4c scale" on Amazon. The two I'm referring to are: RJ9 4P4C Telephone Cord 5 Ft. Compatible with AWS Ship Elite Scale 5 Foot RJ9 4P4C Telephone Cord 10 Ft. Compatible with AWS Ship Elite Scale Ten Foot Though, without actually having those cables in hand, I can't say for certain whether their wire colors are in same order on both ends of the cable. Though photos imply they are.

Answer:	Scale reads 110 pounds max, I used scale and weighed my foot and leg past 60 pounds to 80 pounds. I did not wish to max out scale, but I have used it to precheck the weight of my luggage to be under 50 pounds before flight. I have had to adjust weight for luggage weighing in at 68 pounds so the scale works great. It works better than my bathroom scale and subtracting my weight from combined carried luggage weight. And easier to read!!

Answer:	Yes, the sides are soft. You can squash the cube into spaces that are smaller than the cube. Also, if not completely filled, the cube will flatten and take up only necessary space. The only stiff parts are the zippers but even they bend. I was very happy with these.

Question:	Can I use the 1g ~ 5g? I mean, Can it be displayed 1g, 2g, 3g
Answer:	It has only two decimals after the dot so it may display 10 grams as 0.01 but not single digit grams such as 1, 2, 3gr.

Question:	Does this scale measure by the in 1oz increments
Answer:	Accurate to .1 ounce up to 25 pounds. Over 25 pounds to maximum 50 pounds accurate to .2 ounces.

Answer:	Yes it can. A button on the front left side of the scale switches between pounds and kilograms.
Question:	what is the smalles unit of measurement? ie .1 gram or .01oz
Answer:	The box says "Graduation: 0.1 oz" (yes, tenths), and when switching units, the unit weighs in individual grams (not portions thereof). At the low end, the smallest weight I can get it to register is 6 grams or 0.2 ounces (while these are close to equivalent, I'm not arriving at either of those figures by conversion; these are the lowest numbers I can get to show on the scale). Note, though, that readings in this range are not to be trusted, as they're inconsistent. I would place the scale's margin of error within 3-10 grams.
Question:	What are the dimensions of the weighing paltform? in other words, what box size can you put onto it without obstructing the led panel
Answer:	The platform measures 6 7/8" X 6". The distance from the back of the platform to the top of the display is about 8 1/8". Due to the angled display face, your box can slightly overhang the display and you can still read the weight. I'd say you can probably put a fairly "well-balanced box" of at least 19" on it and still read the weight.I hope this makes sense and helps.By the way, this is a great scale, and if it meets your needs, you won't regret buying it.
