So it fits, but doesn't work exactly the same. I've had to fold down a tiny bit of the corner of the tape after cutting it to make it easier to start the next time. This wasn't necessary to do with the original roll of tape that came in my dispenser since the plastic dispenser held the end of the tape away from the roll. |

| Answer: | I have no idea. It just is not sticky. I tried it on more than boxes; it wouldn't even stick to plastic envelopes. Every time I put the tape down, it would start coming up again in spots. The boxes I was using were bought from Home Depot, and they are nice boxes, not dirty in other words. I would expect tape to not stick to dirty boxes, but these were very nice and clean. Maybe they changed their glue formula or something, I don't know, but I wouldn't buy them again. |

| Answer: | Just tried it on a few plastic bins and" NO" it does not. :(... However, I will say that it is a much more durable tape then some I've purchased and is much easier to find the end and start then cheaper thinner ones. I believe a lot of the sticking power also has to do with the temperature of the atmosphere. I just tried it in a room that has no heat on in it which is 64 degrees. Warmer would stick better. If you were to totally wrap the bin with the tape it would be secure. Otherwise not so good. Twine would be cheaper and easier to work with as well as re-usable. |
