Answer:	Well, actually neither, exactly. It's not laminated. It's hard, stiff & slightly thick, like bookboard, but there is some kind of finish on it that has a moleskin feel to it - velvety. I really like this planner - it has tabs for the months, a band to close it & a pocket on the inside back cover where I keep receipts, appointment cards, etc., until I can put them away. Also plenty of room for notes on each day, and it fits in my purse. I don't know why they are now making yearly planners that go from the middle of one year to the middle of the next, instead of Jan. to Dec., but that seems to be the trend. I will definitely be ordering this same brand & type of planner next year.

Long answer, no China still claims Taiwan as part of their country even though Taiwan is technically the rightful government of China and self sufficient and has its own government. China is so big and powerful/influential though that they can throw their weight around wherever they want, and since China is communist it has full control over imports and exports. Point being if they put the Taiwanese flag on there the company would pretty much never make it into china, which really cuts off expansion of the company as China is one of the highest exporters in the world. Question:	does the map come assembled or does it require assembly when it arrives
Answer:	They didn’t send me a corrected map so I wouldn’t know.
Question:	Is each piece 35.4 x 23.62 inches or does the 3 pieces total 35.4 x
Answer:	My map also spells Moscow, MOSKOW. I kinda thought when I brought it to their attention, they’d get a corrected order in, and replace it. But no such luck.
Question:	People have rated it 3 star only because the places overlap at the edge , what is your saying on that
Answer:	This particular set ship rolled. We also have a folded set on Amazon if you are interested.
Question:	How much is it weight
Answer:	The item came in a 30" X 7" X 6" box. However the manufacturer rolled the two maps into a 2" form inside plastic wrap. Not fun getting the two maps to flatten, took me a week.

Answer:	I don't consider that a problem. The maps are quite nice.

Answer:	The map reflects the current political state of the world and has the most recent country to join the UN, South Sudan (2011).
Question:	Can I use wallpaper paste on a laminated map
Answer:	My husband used masking tape to outline the map's size on our Vinyl-wallpapered wall. Then he painted the area with an even coat of wallpaper Border cement. We quickly rolled up the map on the shorter side, and unrolled it onto the cement, smoothing out any bubbles as we went. Under these conditions it has worked perfectly.
