Answer:	I just took a measurement. You have 1- 1/8th inches of width. I do believe you could make that opening directly in the middle of the slot to allow a script bottle to fit through. Expanding the opening could be done by opening the large door, using a pair of pliers to "pull down" enough to get the bottle through the slot. FYI - the way the slot is designed, there's no way someone could stick their hand inside to extract content when its locked. There is enough 'bend' in the metal to allow this. Hope this info helps.

Answer:	The clips are very substantial. This is a solid made cash box. An extra benefit is that I think the company gives 3 keys. I bought it for my 8 year old grandson as I was sick of cheap children's banks and the like. This is a great cash box and it has a whole section for coins--and that is sturdy as well. it is slightly heavy as a good cash box would be.

Answer:	No, you can’t lock this case with an external lock.
Question:	Can I latch this box so it stays shut without locking it? I never want to lock it, but I do want to close it and latch it
Answer:	No it won't. It's cute but not that big. It could easily hold the 24 crayons and a "few" other small things but not much more. I just put 24 crayons in my daughters "beast box" and I'd say it was 3/4 full. Hope that helps.

Answer:	It is great quality! Highly recommend. Have had this for a year and basically looks brand-new besides the crayon marks inside!
Question:	Can I put a dismantled clock into this to make it look scary
Answer:	It will depend on your school. Every school is different. We bought this one for my son for school because it does meet the size requirements but they preferred students use the cheap plastic clip shut pencil boxes. They tape a number line and stuff on it and they cannot do that with this fabric one. I can honestly say we don’t regret buying though. My son LOVES this little pencil box. He uses it for his DS or other toys anytime we go somewhere. It’s hard even though it’s fabric so still protective of whatever is inside
