Answer:	No! It comes with two clips that slide on the two terminals of the meter. You solder or crimp your wires to the clips. Also see my other comments regarding the dimensions....the meter is deeper than the listing states.

Answer:	Mine came with a cord amd charger but the charger stopped working so I bought a lightening charger instead and it's 100x better than the factory charger that came with it.

Answer:	It works by induction. It counts the electrical pulses to the spark plug. You wrap several loops of wire around the spark plug wire and it is powered by the electro-magnetic field . No battery needed. To get an accurate run time you will need to run the generator for a fixed time and compare it to the meter. Otherwise the time is approximate.
