Answer:	I bought this mouse pad and 5 others to compare. This mouse pad does not feel like gel. It feels like memory foam. This was the softest of all of them. At first it feel very comfortable and form fitting as that is what memory foam does. The problem with memory foam is that it makes some people sweat. Some of the other brands that were gel are a bit firmer and with the cloth there is less direct contact and then sweating is not a problem. I preferred a different brand that was gel with fabric covering even though it was a bit firmer.

Answer:	23 mm for the foam pad and 4 mm for the flat portion under the phone equal 27 mm Or about 1.1 inches.

Answer:	I somewhat disagree with the other answers. The product does have an odor, however it is not noticeable unless you put it right up to your face to smell it. Its not a terrible odor and not noticeable during normal use, although the smell does transfer to your wrist after using it. Overall its a good mouse pad and the odor is no reason to avoid the product.

Answer:	Just open the jar and remove a liner from the lid and put the lid back on. I am on my second order and I really like them.

Answer:	The gel part is 6" x ~2.5" at its widest point. There is a good 2" surface area all the way across where your wrist rests. The mouse pad area is 6" x 6". This is the second fellowes gel wrist pad I've owned. My first one of this type lasted over 10 years of daily use. It is a very comfortable set up to use. I have not had any issues with out running the mouse pad with the mouse.
Question:	I'm looking for a pad that has a more cloth-like surface. I don't want a hard plastic as my mouse doesn't seem to work well with those. Cloth-like
Answer:	I can't answer about the packaging, but mine is as expected. The gel pad is stiff with very slight give and attached to the holder. The mouse pad is a covered foam piece and is removable from the holder. It provides good support.
Question:	Can you wash to remove odor
Answer:	It stayed in place well for me, is not of the quality of previous versions of this Fellowes mouse pad. I recently replaced it with the Kensington Duo Gel Mouse Pad with Wrist Rest - Blue (K62401AM), which is very nice! No slipping either, and nicer dual gel wrist rest. Hope this helps.
Question:	What are the dimensions of this Fellowes 9252001, the numbers in the tech details have to be wrong, it can't be 18 x
Answer:	No but the wrist rest is pretty inexpensive as well. It is 100% worth it to buy these. I've had mine a long time now and that are just as comfortable as the first day I bought them. There is no smell and they are easy to clean. Moist cloth works perfectly.
