Answer:	the problem is not the weight but the size of your iMac. The computer I have sitting on it is 20 inches wide and it just fits on it. So I would suggest you find another stand that is large enough to hold your iMac.

Answer:	That is really a matter of choice. Mine is mounted from a corner to the very edge of the corner. It works for me. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

Answer:	Depends on what thickness you are attaching it to. But a small pilot hole will help ease the installation of the screws.
Question:	What are the dimensions of the mounting bracket, screw locations? I have a metal desk with some cross members, and I need to know if it will align
Answer:	The wrist rest is not attached when shipped. It comes with an adhesive strip that the user applies. It think it is easy to remove although I have not done it myself.
Question:	Maybe I'm missing something but I don't see where it says if it slides back under the desk when not in use
Answer:	Sorry I already installed it and never measured them. If I remember correctly, they came with a large set and a smaller set. In reality, a quick trip to the hardware store for screws that wont poke through (or a few washers for spacers) would be all you need if you’re concerned. As for the item, my coworker likes how it adjusts though I didn’t like how it didn’t easily glide in and out. I may add some grease to some of the components.

Answer:	No, I don't think it would work well on your lap. The laptop isn't secured to the stand, and there isn't enough of a base to make it stable on a non-flat, shifting surface. It works extremely well on a flat, stable surface, however.
Question:	Will this work for a 17" HP notebook
Answer:	I have used the stand for other 17" notebooks but not with the HP 17" - i use it for my macbook 15". There are two things you need to consider:1. Max tilt angle of the screen i.e. screen fold back from the body - if its greater than equal to 135 degrees (max on the macbook), then the viewing angle works. Any less, it's not likely to be ergonomic. 2. Is the weight distribution of the HP evenly weighted at the base or weighted to the rear of the machine. If even, then it should work, however, if most of the weight is to the rear, it might be unstable as portion of the rear will stick out from the top of the stand.
Question:	Will this work will for a 13" Macbook
Answer:	Yes absolutely. No problem. It is very nice and I've used it with 13, 15 and 17"

Answer:	If you can open your laptop to 180 degrees, you can set the base to its most veritical setting. The footprint for that is 8.5"w x 9"d. The depth will be longer as you lower the vertical setting.

Question:	Would this work as an ajustable stand for a projector
Answer:	Absolutely! This is amazing and VERY easy to use! Just lift to where you want it. To drop it back and under the desk you simply tilt the keyboard forward and down which releases it to drop (hold onto your mouse). It really is pretty sweet and is the best and most versatile keyboard tray we have found and has now become our standard install around here. You really get an incredible range of work height placement and tilt too, plus easy install. It really is that great!
Question:	Is this sturdy enough to type on and use the laptop when on the stand? I will not be using an external keyboard or mouse
Answer:	It's pretty solid, much more so than it looks. Could you make it wobble if you really wanted to? I suppose, but it's pretty stable in normal use. That said, I found myself using the keyboard with the tray resting on my lap, which doesn't wobble at all.
Question:	Which material is made from
Answer:	If you have a composite/particle board/"manufactured wood" desk - screw and glue a piece of 1/2" plywood slightly larger than the mounting plate to the surface where you want to mount this. Make sure it is well secured. Weight the plywood until the glue dries because screws won't hold well enough in fake wood to be sure of holding this together tight until the glue has dried.Make sure no screws are blocking where you need to mount the plate.When it has thoroughly dried - I'd wait a minimum of 24 hours, 48 might be better to be on the safe side, depending on what sort of glue or epoxy you used, follow the instructions - mount to that piece of plywood. This is the ONLY way you can mount a keyboard tray like this to fake wood products.If your 1/2" thick desk is real wood - real, solid wood - the same trick will work but it will be easier, more solid, won't require weighting (wood screws can tighten up enough in real wood to provide sufficient pressure where they tend to pull out of composites), and will last for-ever. Or at least for the lifetime of the desk.

Answer:	Not sure I understand your question. My Mac keyboard, purchased earlier this year, does NOT have any feet on the under side of the keyboard. That was the reason I bought the ESC Flip Computer Keyboard Stand. The stand does work well for me. It is adjustable to two different heights.

It’s easily removable with a little force and after you raise or wipe down with wet towels, you can stick it to another keyboard. It’s safe to use on iPad. Just be careful if you need to remove it from your iPad because you do need a little force to do so. I have used it on 3 different keyboards and laptop. I love this product as it has 3 different adjustable heights.
Question:	Is there any reason why this couldn't be used to give a negative tilt (tilting forward rather than towards the user
Answer:	As long as you have a flat area on the back of your keyboard to attach the Flip then yes it will work. Hope you give it a try and post your experience for others to lean :)

Answer:	There is full freedom of rotation along the horizontal plane - however be cautioned that the installation point is attached by a provided adhesive that failed after one month of use - but if you are slightly handy it can be re-attached with use of wood screws (should have been provided with installation kit)
Question:	how far does it rotate left and right
Answer:	It rotates as far as you want in both directions, so 90 degrees in either direction. Very handy.
Question:	How does this tray attach to the desk
Answer:	The tray attaches to the desk using screws. Have a good drill handy because they are rather large. I used a small drill bit to start a pilot hole which helped.
Question:	Is the mouse pad portion completely removable? With my desk configuration, I anticipate continuing to use the desktop for my mouse
Answer:	yes..we have several of these in multiple offices and the mouse pad was not installed on any of them. Works just fine that way. If you use a smaller sized keyboard, there is room for the mouse on the keyboard tray next to the keyboard which is what we do.

Question:	Is the weight of this product really less than 12 lbs? And can the mouse be placed on either side or is the mouse pad preinstalled on the right side
Answer:	It has been a year since I install the keyboard tray, but, yes, it is less then 12 lbs. and, as I recall, the "Mousing Surface Pad" is sticky on the back and it can be affixed to either the left or right side of the tray.
Question:	I have a lip on the underside of the desk that is 3 inches from the outer edge of the desk. Can this be mounted behind the lip and still function
Answer:	I would need more information to answer you question with exactness. This lip, how wide is far does it extend back from he front edge of the desk and how thick is it? Lets assume that your desk is of solid construction so that you the run screws you screw in to the under side of the desk will hold (a requirement) and that the lip extends 6" back under the desk top, from the front edge of the desk and is 1/2" thick. The track must mount to the underside of the desk on an effectively flat surface. Any screws placed in the bottom of the desk within 5" or so of the front of the desk would be installed OK but then you have to provide a spacer to fill the 1/2" gap between the bottom of the desk and the track which will extend some 21-3/4" further back from the front edge of the desk. The short answer is that the tray and track will work with a lip, but you will need to put one long spacer between the tray and the bottom of the desk or smaller spacers at each attachment screws, once you get move away from the back edge of the lip. Hope this makes since to you. I had a similar problem and used a 1/4" thick spacer at each attachment screw one the attachment screws were no longer within the area of the lip.

Answer:	We have not tested on the Logitech K350 but it looks like it would work
Question:	i have an older laptop with attached screen I need to angle my keyboard so I can type easier otherwise i peck! Will this work to accomplish that end
Answer:	I would think it would. Depending on how wide your laptop is though, you may want to order 2. These are only 6" wide which is fine for just a keyboard but with the weight of the screen on top, again you may want 2 of them. Also they have an adhesive strip to help keep them in place.
Question:	Has anyone used this to create a negative slant (helpful for a treadmill desk)? Does it work
Answer:	The product was designed for the user to angle there keyboard to what is the most comfortable for the user. If a negative slant is preferred then yes that will work.
